I purchased an Amazon local deal for this company that promised 3 rooms (up to 700 feet) of steam cleaning — well, it turns out that steam cleaning doesn’t involve soap! If you want soap, you’ll have to pay hundreds of dollars extra.
I found the offer very misleading — do they really expect the average consumer to know that steam cleaning is «only suitable for carpets that have been very recently deep-​cleaned.» And can they honestly claim that they thought that people buying vouchers for carpet cleaning would have had their carpets deep-​cleaned in the last month or two?
This supposed «deal» was clearly just a way to get in the door to scam unsuspecting customers out of hundreds of dollars in additional charges.
