Was in town for a protest rally and only restaurant near was this, the cashier made error twice in my order to add cheese to my order and the so called manager demanded I cough up the 30 cent difference at the pick up area. 30 cent not a big deal of course but you would have thought the error the cashier made was part of a plot to get free cheese. This so called manager Glenda, stood her ground, I tossed the 30 cents on the counter when I wanted to throw it at her head!

Just left the drive thru with overlooked fries and an unfrozen lemonade. Took it all back inside to get my money back. No apology from management… just an eye roll. They actually did me a favor. I had no business getting fast food anyway !!!

The place was clean and the employees were really nice. The cashier went out of his way to say he could make sure that the chicken was left off of the chicken wrap I ordered. I like sandwich wraps but I was really specific about not wanting meat and that I did not mind cancelling the order if it was too complicated. I was told it wasn’t a problem. The cashier did such a good job of putting me at ease that I did not double check my order before I left. By the time I got to my destination I saw that the chicken had not been removed. I didn’t want the inconvenience of schlepping back to ask for ANOTHER wrap, but without chicken this time. The cookies(raisin & choc chip) were hard and felt like they had been made that morning and left out all day. The fries were like any McD’s fries… warm and good. Update: I took the survey on the receipt and shared my disappointment with McDonald’s. The area manager contacted me(unaware I had also Unilocaled). I am accepting a replacement item for the incorrect order and I am not changing my rating. I consider this an even trade and it doesn’t change what occurred. I also don’t have to visit the same location to get my correct order. If I hadn’t left my event so late the day of my visit, I would have returned to the location that night to ask for a refund or replacement. Getting good service and what I expect matter, regardless if I am paying $ 1.00 or $ 100. I don’t consider getting what I expected to begin with to be a «bribe» or incentive to change my review(since that ain’t gonna happen). The manager said that it was no excuse but sometime’s employees need retraining. I prefer the New York Ave location better(ironically owned by same person). I appreciated being heard by a manager and I probably would not return to that location.

This has got to be the worst McDonald’s on the face of this earth and in the United States of America The staff is nasty disgruntled and don’t want to be there and I dare not complain for fear of them doing something to my food Every time I come here with my coworker on our break they never have any coffee what is the problem with Coffee even 7-Eleven is always stocked with coffee From now on here on out I would not allow my coworker to come to this dump ever again I will make her go to Maryland because Dc sucks

Ok, I’m giving 2 stars for good location and fast service. Now with that said this Mcdonalds was the dirtiest I’ve ever been to. We walked in and I still can’t describe the smell. It was horrible. Workers were rude. Floor and tables were dirty and the food tasted weird. We didn’t even eat it. I would never suggest anyone ever eating here. It was very unsanitary.

As Kate already mentioned this place has the refreshed look and fits well with the steady gentrification of Southeast albeit right on(if not over) that border. Just like buying children’s clothing one size too big in anticipation that they’ll grow, pretty soon this McD’s will fit right in with new construction buildings as upper SE becomes a magnet for younger married professionals. Right now it sits all alone on some desolate street corner. Double drive-thru helps move the line.

This place has been recently remodeled from the inside-out. I believe that this location went through a management change as well. Some notable things: – Lots of outlets for computers, comfy chairs to work on your… well, work. – Pop machine for unlimited refills(they ask for only one refill). – TVs with CNN on – Internet/wifi – Parking lot – Couple blocks from Navy Yard metro This place can get busy when the Nationals are in town, so keep that in mind if you choose to come here prior or post-game time.

This is a busy McDonald’s with a drive thru and loads of parking. Busy means nothing’s sitting out, and the fries are fresh. The dining area was clean when I came here in the middle of a sunny day. The crowd was largely blue collar working folk, a couple of retirees, and one person who looked like this could be his home away from wherever he keeps his bedding… but he was quiet and non-threatening. The staff was polite and bilingual(English/Spanish). There’s a trophy case here with a trophy given by McDonald’s as a «Streetfighter» Award. I have no idea what that means, but I guess it’s good. Maybe Rayon McIntosh could work here safely.
