Great service by the masseuse and the front desk. The entrance was hard to find, (first left door) but everything else was really good. They asked what level of massage I wanted, I asked for deep and I got it!

I purchased a Groupon here and got an appointment the day of, which was so great. The receptionist is very kind and attentive on the phone and in person. You walk into the place, and you immediately feel at ease. The lighting is dim, and it has a very nice and calm ambiance to it. I was immediately taken to my room after some short paperwork.
The masseuse came in shortly after. I cannot remember her name unfortunately, and I forgot to ask for it again. She asked me a few questions on what I was looking for and my desired pressure. I told her that I wanted something therapeutic and relaxing with firm pressure, while focusing a bit on some painful areas. She started my massage after asking me to take a few deep breaths to relax.
Her technique was fairly good, but the pressure was not really anywhere near what I wanted. I really should have said something, but she also never asked about how the pressure was during the massage, and I also don’t like to spoil the zen of the session by talking. She started working on my back and shoulder area and then moved on to my legs. After I turned around on the table to face up, she worked on my head and neck area. Again, the technique was there but definitely some room for improvement.
After I walked out of the massage parlor, I looked at my phone and realized that she cut my hour massage a little short. I should have had at least 5 more minutes, which feels like a long time when you’re getting a massage. Overall the service is great, but the massage was just alright.

Wonderful birthday gift to myself! Took a bit of time to get the appt scheduled. There’s on street parking in the surroinding neighborhood free up to two hours unless you are Zone 5 (so no time limit).

Came here for a massage after buying an Amazon Local deal. Athena gave a very good massage, was attentive to my requests and worked into areas that needed kneading :). I appreciated that she checked in with me at various points to make sure pressure and areas of focus were on point, and that she emphasized working with the breath. 30 minutes of sauna was included in the deal, which was also a-​ok. Not super hot, but I did break a sweat. My major complaint is that they did not have a shower available after the sauna (and massage). There is apparently a shower on the premises, but not readily available? Not sure, but worth taking into account if you plan to go. I also did not have the best experience in scheduling my appointment.

I got a good deal at Groupon for a couple massage and went there with a friend. The location is pretty far from the city center and hard to reach without a car but it’s definitely worth it. My masseuse didn’t talk much which is what I prefer — she just massaged me quietly with the right pressure and let me enjoy it and drift to sleep. I only got the 60-​min massage — should’ve gotten the 90-​min one. Will definitely go again next month if I can find another Groupon deal for this place.

Had an outstanding massage from Zia. The location isn’t the most convenient, but when you’re only getting a massage once a month or so, it’s definitely worth the trip.
The spa atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and certainly relaxing.
Zia was very attentive and involved in making sure my massage was enjoyable. My body has felt great and relaxed since getting the massage!

I was a little skeptical by the location right on Bladensburg Rd but once I entered the spa, I was put at ease. It was clean, smelled delicious, nicely decorated and serene. The staff was courteous, professional and prompt.
Most importantly, my massage was DA BOMB!!!
Athena kneaded, stretched, tugged, pulled… you name it, girlfriend did it! I teach Zumba three days a week and my body was extremely tense. She listened to me and reacted to my body movements. We definitely connected and my body feels two thousand times better. Needless to say, I am going to be one of Athena’s regular clients.
