After a bad AirBnB experience our first night in DC, we were so thankful to get a great deal on a room here. True to the Marriott name, the hotel is clean and the staff provide great service. Having a safe, quiet, clean and nice room to come back to after our long adventures around DC really made our experience that much better. Great Job

The room was fine, but I heard noise from other rooms-particularly doors opening and closing most of the night. That alone is a dealbreaker for me. Strangely, even though I was on the street, and the windows kept the outside noise outside. The biggest problem, However, was that the elevators barely worked. I went out about four or five times and never took the elevator down. I had to take a staircase two big floors and thru the back of a kitchen. Also, the sign on the staircase said no access to lobby. I literally called the lobby to find out how to get down. Lastly, the room key cards were very temperamental on the rooms and the elevator. I will not be back. Ps. It’s not good when you pay over $ 200 and feel trapped in your room or in the lobby trying to get to your room.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in a hotel. The staff is wonderful. The location is great. The room was nice and big. The restaurant attached to the hotel is wonderful. Made my trip to Washington so much more enjoyable. Marie V.

Got here dead tired and it was bliss. Very welcoming & professional door guys, desk guys, and a chic, quiet, marvelous room. Ochre and scarlet, a mahogany rail on the wall holding three B & W photos of rocks – found this madly sophisticated, soothing. Great location near National Mall.
