MakeOffices at Dupont

It’s taken a while to write this review. Can’t say we had an entirely positive experience with this location. Towards the end of an entire year of paying rent, our office flooded after several rains causing hundreds of dollars of damages to wide format printers, client documentation (never recovered) and personal effects. During this time we basically had to work in noisy, soggy wet office space while everything was remediate day flood recovery teams. While according to some folks UberOffices received insurance consideration for damages, we were offered a minor discount off of one months rent in return — only. While the low level administrative employees were awesome to work with, management was barely around and/​or communicative. The general sense we got is that they care more about maximizing the $$$ to open the next location than caring for their tenants.
The format of the spaces are very similar to WeWork. Offices are slightly larger for less price but the common spaces do not get the same design feel as WeWork. Community is a bit more segmented as well and less investment in events or whatnot. Great location, no parking garage. Being able to switch between Tysons and here is a nice touch. Completely incompetent building management — not UberOffices fault.
Overall good if you want to get work done and go home, one step above a Regus, two steps below WeWork.

Definitely a good place to grind out any work you have to do. The management team are friendly and helpful, kitchen has the essentials and there’s the gen consoles to keep the blood pressure down (or rise up if you’re a crappy gamer). In terms of design, it lacks flavor compared to others, but this place is more focused on getting your ish done and that is what I like about it.

My colleague and I were at Über Offices at the Dupont Circle location for some time, and it was great! The space accommodates startups and small businesses of any size with private offices of different sizes around the perimeter and a bull pen of desks.
We were in a private 3-​person office over looking Dupont Circle. The space offers a turn-​key solution as offices come fully furnished with desks, chairs and bookshelves for each person. The kitchen area also comes fully equipped with whatever you may need. The common space area has lounge couches, and a big TV when a little rest and relaxation is needed. There are 3 conference rooms in the space which can be easily booked via a user-​friendly web portal. There are also smaller rooms that can be used to make phone calls without disturbing others.
Cat and the Über office team were always very welcoming and helpful from move-​in to move-​out! The space is definitely for business oriented individuals looking to collaborate and make business connections. Every month Über Offices hosts networking and other beneficial seminars to help your business grow!
Über offices was a great space to work in, and if our business needs had not changed we would still be residing in there. Overall, it was a great place to work!

TL;DR
Über Offices in Dupont is a great place for startups (and small businesses) looking for no hassle, affordable office space without any long term commitments. It’s centrally located in Dupont next to the metro, has great food options around (from Shake Shack to Mari Vanna), and a super helpful, friendly staff. How we chose our first office space:
We were looking to optimize for three things: convenience, atmosphere, and startup friendliness. We looked at a bunch of options before deciding on Über Offices Dupont.
1) Convenience — Location, location, location. Dupont Circle is an awesome neighborhood and has a great vibe for both working and living. We were looking for a place that was easy to access for any visitors and employees, had great dining options, and was close to where we lived.
2) Atmosphere — We wanted a dedicated space for our team that was private and let us build company culture. Coworking spaces are great, but not really for us. We were looking for something that wasn’t noisey and where people just focused on getting some serious work done. We also met some great people from other companies along the way.
3) Startup Friendliness — $ 500/​desk + month to month are great terms for a startup like ours that’s looking for flexibility and trying to avoid the ball and chain of a traditional lease. As your team grows, it should also be pretty easy to move to a bigger office space. Finally, free coffee, beer, mail/​package services, kitchen and lounge area, and Xbox made life pretty easy.
Overall, we were very happy with our experience. Definitely check out Über as you think about getting an office space.

UberOffices is my favorite coworking space in the Washington, DC.
As someone who works from home 80% of the time, I rarely venture out unless I feel like it’s really worth it. UberOffices is pretty much the only thing that gets me out of the house.
The management is great, the offices are gorgeous, the bull pen is really nice and convenience. There’s great networking and lots of after work events for socializing and meeting the people around you.
The best part is all the hidden perks. When you sign up, you don’t know who else is working in the office, but right now there is a csa company that brings in fruit and veggies straight from the farm, there are cupcakes and granola bars, there are discounted tickets to events… the list goes on.
The kitchens are really clean and have plenty of space to store your food and prepare it at lunch time.
there are little phone booths that you can go into for conference calls so you don’t disturb others.
The view is fantastic.
I really can’t say enough good things about UberOffices. The Dupont Circle office is my favorite but Tysons and Rosslyn are good too — just not as close to me.
