So… we go to front desk before going out to dinner and ask for turn down service. The person writes our room # down… Nobody ever did the turn down. Just say at the front desk that you don’t offer that service… Don’t write down the room number and not show up. Come on!

I have stayed here a few years in a row and was happy with the service and the rooms. However, that being said, travel wuite a bit, so staying at a chain that provides breakfast and other loyalty perks. The service is 5 stars, from the front desk, to the bellman to the guys standing in the back of our conference room(still not sure what his function is). For other downtown hotels with similar service, the Madision is an excpetional value. My biggest compliant was the internet. It will cost you in the guest room and then if you are there for a conference, I found that the meeting rooms have internet service similar to third world countries. This was disappointing because several of us were attending meetings and ‘needed’ it in order to get our normal day-to-day work done.
