Lyric 440K

I have posted a review months ago, and I want to write another review since the guy who used to work at management were gone. This place is getting better for sure after he left. The other staff are friendly and helpful. The swimming pool I like the most and the wifi at the roof is also nice and fast.
We finally do not need to deal with the guy in management, and do not need to get some funny email that warning us this and that. I used to feel live here is like live in a high school dorm room, sometimes you just got the email was sent to everyone who live at this building to warning people that this is a non-​smoke building (I am not a smoker), and tell people that they found someone smoke at home, and they wish this will never happen again, otherwise…(always some harsh sentence). It was really funny feeling to live here. But after that guy was gone, we actually feel this is an apartment where could really make us happy and comfortable. So I have to say I would like to recommend this place since then.

The building is not so bad guys. There are pros and cons, but I experienced some things are more positive than presented here. management for example is actually very responsive. yes, finishes are on the «cheaper» edge (for a luxury apartment) but they are quick in fixing things. my fridge didn’t work on saturday evening and on sunday 9am I had a new one exchanged.

I’m very surprised to be honest about all the negative reviews at the Lyric. I moved in the building in September and have been very pleased with the management, cleanliness, amenities, etc…
Maybe I’m just lucky but my neighbors are not noisy, and the building seems very quiet. The only noise I get are a lot of sirens (more than I expected) from the street.
I have a car and don’t pay for parking (I street park) and my guests take metro to see me. There is plenty of street parking if guests pay at a meter (or free in the evening).

If the rent wasn’t so high, I might be able to deal with the cheap finishes, ineffective appliances, and door men who are never at the door. But when you pay for luxury, you expect to get it. On the plus side, management is very responsive. So while your refrigerator will break, dishwasher won’t wash (seriously, we’ve been washing glasses by hand for 5 months), and cabinets will fall off, management will try to make it right (Notice I said try).
