WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I walked in every employee was busy texting on their cell phones and no one offered to help me. Then when I did ask someone for help she told me to «hold on» because she was on a personal call using her headset! Steer clear of this location.

Every step of the process was awful. First I tried to come here last year and was treated so rudely on the phone that I trekked out to Arlington instead of to this location, even though this location is closer for me. Sadly the experience at Pentagon City was horrible, so this year when I needed to do my annual exam I decided to suck it up and give this place a shot. Big mistake. I should have gone with my first instincts and the feedback of so many other reviewers.
I made an appointment online and somehow it was not in the system for the day I made it when I arrived. The doctor was completely rude and actually told me that it wasn’t possible the non-​eye health problems I have are impacting my eye health — try reading WebMD or Mayo Clinic websites every once in awhile. Eye issues are a very established symptom of my disorder. It really made me doubt the quality of the health care I was receiving.
Then the girl at the counter was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She kept talking around the contact pricing and placed an order that was incorrect. She offered to fix it but at this point I was so frustrated that I just gave up and left insurance money on the table rather than deal with them further. Now six weeks later my contacts still have not arrived (after being told ‘up to 3 weeks’ which was ridiculous in the first place. I have a very standard prescription and most establishments have the lenses in stock). When I called today I was placed on hold for 15 minutes until they told me they’d have to call me back because they couldn’t track the shipment. Abysmal. Every step along the way. Looks like I’m going to have to visit my old LensCrafters out of town from now on.

I’ve been here twice in the last week. One employee that I saw both times was helpful and accommodating. Another employee (a manager I believe) that I saw during my most recent visit wasn’t pleasant. She didn’t greet me and was just not helpful overall. For my particular situation, they couldn’t help me which is fine, but they were very dismissive. I’ve been in stores where they couldn’t help me with whatever special need I had, but in other stores I still felt as if I received superior customer service, and that wasn’t the case here. I’ll go to Pentagon City next time.

I love this location Jazmin and Dr. Fazooni are great with customer service and patient care. I definitely recommend this location. I always have hard time picking frames for myself but Isabel was fantastic with how and why she choose my frames. Love this place!

I scheduled a 10am appointment and arrived at the store at 9:50am as I was told to arrive «early», the store was still completely closed with lights off and no sign of anyone inside, I called the store number and a female answered and eventually the lights were turned on and I was let inside at around 10:05am, the two females in the store did not act very professional for a store of this caliber that markets itself as «high end», the woman with the red hair and an arm tattoo who appears to be the «supervisor» (according to her nametag) was the least professional and never once acknowledged me despite the fact that I was the first and ONLY customer in the store, I sat down and patiently waited, eventually after waiting several minutes the other woman who appeared to be her assistant handed me a clipboard with papers and eventually finally took care of me.
The exam went as expected and the doctor was friendly, after I received my prescription I made my way around the store shopping for frames, I was surprised to find that most of the frames are kept under locked glass and once again I did not receive any help whatsoever from the «supervisor» with the red hair who was standing at a computer and not helping any customers, I had to ASK for her to please come over and open the cases for me so I could see the frames, I pulled out some plastic frames and she immediately TOOK them away from me, I am talking like literally grabbed out of my hands in an aggressive manner and stated she did not recommend them, I informed her that I normally prefer plastic frames since I have a high prescription and she shortly stated with an attitude in her voice «well that’s just my recommendation». Really?
Now comes the best part, after going back and forth between this location and the Pentagon City location I eventually had my glasses made, waited two weeks as they do not have an on-​site lab, and now comes the icing on the cake, the first time they made an «error» and sent the wrong frame in and the second time the prescription was wrong and had to be «adjusted» by the optometrist, so I had my glasses made and re-​made a grand total of THREE times! To this day I am still not 100% satisfied with my glasses which I spent over $ 600 on and rely on for regular use, just thinking about it makes my blood boil!

Dr. Niazi is wonderful and I’ve always had a great experience with her. Unfortunately, on my most recent visit, I made the mistake of seeing Dr. Fozooni for my eye exam (Dr. Niazi was not working that day). She was rude, impatient, and unprofessional. She seemed very rushed and asked me questions but didn’t listen to the answers. She was annoyed because the store didn’t have all of my records and I didn’t remember the date of my last eye exam (apparently different Lenscrafters stores do not share records, which I found baffling). She suggested an OptiScan and I agreed, but then she was in a rush or forgot, because she sent me to pay without administering the exam, and disappeared into a back office. Overall, it was a waste of 1.5 hours and $ 100. I’m not even sure I trust the prescription she wrote for me, as she rushed through the exam and didn’t seem to be listening to my responses. Also, the store staff is disorganized and unprofessional.

Great location. Open on weekends. Multiple staff members available to help you. Tons of options. These are just a few of the reasons why we had a good experience here. We came here on a Saturday morning without an appointment. We had already had our eye examined by an ophthalmologist so we didn’t need an exam. We already had our prescription and we were ready to look at frames. Jazmine was helping us. She was great. She was honest, patient, and not pushy at all.
They have a ton of brands here like Prada, Burberry, Tory Burch, coach, Tiffany, polo, ray ban, vogue, Versace and much more. Lots of options for women and men. Some frames very reasonable in price and some pricier. They had a great variety in terms of style and color as well. We were constantly asked if we were being helped which was really refreshing and it was appreciated.
FYI the bathroom is available on the second floor of the adjoining building IF you need one.
We bought glasses (husband and I) and we were happy with the experience with Jazmine. I Would definitely come back here and I recommend this location. Ask for Jazmine!

First Unilocal review here. I went to Dr. Fozooni back in June to get my eyes checked. She was very friendly, gave me a pair of contacts to try out, and the staff was helpful enough in helping me find a pair of glasses. I came back for two follow ups for contacts since my eyes weren’t adjusting to the contacts. I voiced concerns about my eyes feeling strained and my left prescription feeling a little off and was told that my eyes just needed to acclimate to the new prescription. I’ve had glasses for over 20 years and I’ve never had this kind of issue before. I trusted my doctor, though, and bought glasses as this prescription feeling confident that my eyes would acclimate. Well, eventually I got headaches that turned into migraines with vertigo and nausea. I called to see if I could return the glasses and was told that yes, I could, but shouldn’t because the prescription was right and I was just adjusting to it still. After some time on the phone, Dr. Fozooni hung up on me saying that the prescription was correct.
The staff at Lenscrafters were very accommodating and allowed me to return my glasses, no questions asked. When I got two separate second opinions (second and third, I guess?) both said my vision had been far too over-​corrected for astigmatism and it was without a doubt where the migraines were coming from. I’m two weeks into an entirely different prescription, no headaches in sight. So, thank you to Lenscrafters for letting me return glasses that made me unable to go to work or leave the house, but no thank you to Dr. Fozooni for telling me that what I was feeling was incorrect and not hearing her patient out. I’ll take my eyes elsewhere from here on out.

Awful experience. Walked in to look at Tiffany frames on a Saturday afternoon… the attendant opened a case and told me to grab whichever ones I wanted to try on. and disappeared. Another associate some young guy showed up and walked by me 25 mins later. I asked him if they measured frames for fit to one;s face and if they provided guidance. he hadn’t a clue. He went back to talk to his two associates and they chatted for a bit where one explained to him what I meant… and yet not a single on showed up to help me. they stood and gossiped. Sucks for them as I was planning on buying the 600 dollar frames and would have on the spot has they helped. They work on commission right? Rude and useless staff on weekends. Manners apparently were not something they grew up with. Being paid to stand around and do nothing. It wasn’t as if they were busy — my friend and I were the ONLY ones in the store. Rude. Unhelpful, Unfriendly. Unprofessional. Too busy sitting around gossiping about parties and who’s doing whom. Disgusted. Will never go back. Vision Centers are a dime a dozen and Lenscrafters on Connecticut Avenue is the worst.

Good selection of frames, easy to get an appointment (same day and weekends) and very friendly service. What more are you looking for?

Good customer service: I walk in 3 employees and 2 customers. I was taken care 8n a swift and informative manner. They were able to answer my questions and give the pricing/​availability of my request.

They always (4 times) made me wait for 1 – 1.5 hour. Finally the doctor messed around with prescription. As a result, I can’t just order my type of lenses

First time here. The Doctor who gave me the eye exam was good, she was nice but the staff is not really professional. One employee talked rudely to another. When I went a week later to pickup my new glasses I didn’t realize until I got home that the tip of the frame that goes behind the ear was broken.
I went in and they told me they didn’t have that part. I had paid 230 dollars for them too. The guy in front of me in line said his lens had popped out the night before. They told me to go to another Lenscrafters and they might have the part. I left and saw a place called Frame Mender. I went in there and a little while later the frames were fixed.

Rachel, a woman at the front desk, was incredibly rude to me, seeming to lack any ounce of customer service skills. I called LensCrafters Optique to verify my RX for contact lenses because I wanted to purchase them online. I had called once earlier in the day, and spoke to a very friendly woman who verified with me my RX over the phone. I forgot to ask about the Base Curve number, so I called back. I spoke to a different woman, Rachel, who refused to release my RX over the phone. She said due to confidentiality reasons, she could not release my information over the phone. This is incorrect. By law, patients have a right to receive their RX electronically or by any other means. Her refusal to give me my RX over the phone appeared to me to be a ploy by the store to force me to come to the store and purchase lenses from them.
The doctors are great there — I would just purchase the contact lenses elsewhere, and get your RX in writing so that you don’t have to deal with the incompetence at the front desk.

I came in to get my Warby Parker frames adjusted, after being told by The Frame Mender down the street that they couldn’t help me. The technician I went to was able to adjust the frames but there was another woman in the background who was saying very unprofessional things in front of me. She kept talking about how Warby Parker frames don’t fit anyone right and how soon no one will be able to see. When I mentioned how the associate at WP told me to mention using high heat and pressure would cause the glasses to bubble, she dismissively said, «Ugh, they really tell you what to say, don’t they?»
So all in all, I’m glad they were able to adjust the frames for free but don’t expect a friendly demeanor if you come in to get glasses adjusted.

Dr Niazi is a wonderful doctor who really cares about her patients and eye care in general. The only issue has been sometimes with the communication between myself and the store in terms of when lenses are arriving but that is mainly due to not having an in-​store lab. Overall, happy with service.

Came here to get my daughter measured for glasses! Great customer service, everyone was friendly, wasn’t crowded got serviced as soon as I walked in!

I scheduled an appointment a few weeks in advance for a Friday around 5PM (I was planning on leaving work a bit early and going on my way home). I got a call the week of my appointment asking if I would be okay with changing the time of the appointment to lunchtime. I said that was fine because it wouldn’t be difficult for me to go during lunch.
Then, when Friday finally comes, I get a call around 11AM (2 hours before my appointment) that the doctor is canceling. No explanation was given and my guess is that they just didn’t feel like staying in the office when they only had a few appointments scheduled. When I asked if I could get an appointment for the next day (they are open on Saturday), the staff told me that the doctors were booked and nothing was available.
Very very inconsiderate and I wouldn’t give them my business at this point.

I stopped in here yesterday after I had dropped my glasses last week. (Luckily, I have three pairs of glasses so I still had two spare pairs.)
I was greeted right away when I came in by a gentleman, who I remember had helped me last time. He asked what he could, and I told him I dropped my glasses and wanted to know if he or someone could pop the lens back. He took the pair of glasses from me carefully and had someone fix it for me. Within a few minutes, I was out the door. He was very friendly and prompt and told me the next time it happens, they could fix it and it would be easy to replace the string on the lower half of my lens.

Unlike other reviewers, I did not have a problem with getting my glasses in a timely fashion. I had my exam on a Thursday and they called me the following Wednesday to say that the glasses were ready. they don’t have an onsite lab. Waiting 6 days was not horrible, but it would have been better to have had my glasses right away since I lost the previous pair.
Most of the techs are nice but there was one (Latoya?) who wasn’t so friendly. I’ve had the most interaction with Lindsay who provides awesome customer service and patient care.
My review dropped from 4 to 3 stars because I’m not crazy about most of the optometrists. Dr. Niazi is my favorite of the three I have seen as she has an excellent bedside manner. Unfortunately, she difficult to get an appointment with. The other OD’s I saw, Drs. Angela Pitts and Yasmine Fozooni, were not very warm or friendly. Unless Dr. Niazi has availability when I need an OD or this location hires a doc I like, I’ll probably choose someone new.
