First and foremost I would like to thank Dr. Larry McNair for his professionalism and gentle hands. My fear of having dental work done was real until my family and I started going to this dentist office. The environment itself puts you at ease as soon as you walk in, very warm welcoming. Personally I don’t mind the wait, I clear my day and its almost like a relaxing getaway because you’re getting excellent treatment… I had an extraction done and boy was I in pain prior to seeing the Dr. They make sure you’re comfortable and numbed up well before the procedure, I felt absolutely nothing and I was healed in no time pain free!

I read so many bad reviews here and thought they couldn’t be right. My first visit was 3 hours, the second 5 hours — to do only 1⁄3 of a root canal. The scheduled follow-​up had me arriving 15 minutes early by taking half a day off work only to be told by a child’s voice through the door buzzer that the office was closed. I booked the appoint 3 weeks before the holidays, the office confirmed it via SMS message and then closed on the day of my appointment, ½/​2015.
Extremely unprofessional business practices. Good dentist and the staff are friendly, but it’s just not worth it for the foolishness around booking, long office waits, moving from dental chair to dental chair. You can’t run a legitimate business this way and succeed.

Doctor McNair’s office was a good fit for my tight schedule when I was job searching. I had general cleaning and x-​rays, they used 2013 top of the line machines and I never scene good accurate reading like that ever. 2 weeks later I had my cavities refilled and it only taken them 30 minutes. There was a 25 minute wait to be since because of other patients came in before me, but I still highly recommend this dentist. Nice Medicaid co pay.

This is by far the worst dental office I have ever been to in my life. The staff is unprofessional, and they over book patients causing you to wait 1 to 2 hours outside of your appointment window to be seen. I went for a cleaning to be followed up by a filling. The cleaning should have sent warning bells up. I mean nothing much was done outside of them brushing my teeth, no plaque removal, flossing nothing. The worst part about it was paying for it. My insurance covers my teeth cleanings twice a year and I pay a co pay of $ 20 for the office visit but not this dental office. They slapped me with a bill five times that. The fact that they can’t get their own billing straight scares me because I have no idea what they charge my insurance company.
I waited 45 minutes to be taken back to a chair. Upon being taken back a dental assistant came in put Novocain in my mouth stuffed me full of gauze a tube and left me there. After about an hour in this already uncomfortable position, another dental assistant came in the room for supplies and I asked her when I was going to be seen. She said she didn’t know and after checking told me it would be another few minutes the doctor was coming. When she left I waited another 30 minutes at which point I noticed that whatever the dental assistant gave me to numb my gums was completely gone so I took everything out of my mouth and told the dental assistants milling around in the back room that I was leaving. As I am leaving the dentist decides to come down stairs to inform me that I am next. At this time I am steaming. It is ridiculous to go to the dentist for a 4pm appointment and not even be seen by the dentist until about 6:00pm. Why not just make my appointment at 6:00pm. It is inconsiderate of someone’s time. I hope they read their reviews and make some needed improvements, however, I will learn from this experience to check up on a dentist before I pay them a visit.

The worst dental practice I have ever been to. It has a ‘mom & pop’ vibe going on. The receptionists/​hygienists are poorly trained and unprofessional. One of them is extremely heavy-​handed and not gentle at all. The way the office is run is fraudulent and the service is a no-​no.
I was told that my insurance would cover the work I needed done. At the end of my appointment, which lasted five hours only 45 minutes of which I was actually seen, I was charged not only for the work that was done but also work that was to be done at my next appointment. They did not accept my insurance as they had told me before (and denied that they ever told me so), basically tricking me into being treated there as opposed to a dentist in my network.
The receptionists don’t have your bill ready once you’re done, causing you to wait an extra 15 – 20 minutes while they try to figure out what to charge you for.
I don’t know how a doctor expects to have a long and prosperous career when they try to cheat and mistreat their patients. I hope Dr. McNair reads this (and the other reviews) and makes an effort toward a better practice.

My wife went in for a peridontal rooting and scaling and they charged twice the list price on the internet, $ 700 per quadrant. Which would mean $ 4000 for the whole mouth. I think this is a pretty unfair price, even if I have insurance.

I went there to consult the dr. about a possible implant. Waited an hour and a half past my appointment before they took me in. They kept trying to market the“credit” application, and ended up giving me an estimate for a bridge that would cost twice as much as the implant. I am not going back and I won’t recommend it to anyone.
