At Kellari, we offer a unique take on the favorite regional classics that can be found in restaurants throughout Greece. What you will find delicious is simple food that tastes as good as what you would find in Greece. We purchase directly from Greek and Mediterranean importers because they are so distinct and virtually indispensable to the creation of a great Greek meal. We fervently believe in purchasing from local, predominantly organic, farmers and friends.

Kellari offers 350 Greek and international wines by the bottle and dozens by the glass — ample choice for pairing up with an extensive menu of contemporary Hellenic fare. Stavros A.

Business Owner

The driving force behind Kellari Hospitality is owner and operator Stavros Aktipis. Aktipis, a native of the Ionian Island of Zakynthos in Greece.

The first restaurant in the Kellari Hospitality family, Kellari Taverna in New York City, was conceptualized and opened its doors in 2005. The company operates Martinique Café on Broadway — Kellari Taverna NY — Kellari Taverna DC — Petit Poulet — Blue Olive Market and Catering.
