The food is amazing. The breakfast is the best that I have found in the area. There is a great selection and the food is always maintained and fresh on the buffet. The fruit and salad bar are equally fresh.

SOHAPPY to find this place right around the corner from where I was staying in DC recently. Great place for breakfast & lunch. Killer salad bar with just about anything you could ever want! NOTE: food is sold by weight, so watch how much you pile into your container. Typical large breakfast or lunch = $ 10 + drink.

located a block from my office, I don’t come here often but when I do, I am not disappointed with my breakfast selection — bacon & a waffle from the grill. There are waffles and crumbly pieces of bacon on the bar BUT it just tastes better when I see the cook make it for me. Could be all in my head but oh well. The breakfast bar is packed with all types of things BUT be careful: you’ll end up spending an arm & leg if you keep piling things in your container! Lunch is ok. I have learned to get a burger & fries from the grill OR a club sandwich. The club sandwich is awesome. loads of bacon! I have learned how to get MORE bacon *looking around* don’t get lettuce or tomatoes. yum! The workers are nice. The owners are great.

First time here. Had a class in the area. Building guard recommend it. The omelettes are better than others places like this I have been to. I am likely to come back but I need to find lighter weight food items.

Do you enjoy paying exorbitant amounts of money for hot bar food? Do you prefer to be cut off from enjoying hot food at around 2:30 – only to be forced to order from TWO– count em– one, two– sandwich choices(turkey and tuna)? Then Jack’s Fresh is the place for you. Don’t get me wrong, the hot bar and salad bar are amazing. They have delicious and fresh options, but you have to basically be okay with paying over $ 15 if you eat normal amounts of food.

While the buffet is good, the chicken and cheese sub is awesome. If it you get it with fries the really load it up, I don’t think I’ve ever eaten the sub and all the fries, it’s a lot of food!

I go to Jack’s Fresh almost every morning for breakfast and lunch, food selection is the best!!! They always have something I like, they never fail me. Food is always fresh. I definitely recommend this place if you’re not sure what food you’re in the mood for, they offer a variety so you can pick anything you want and prices aren’t that bad if you don’t pack your plate. They switch up the menu often on some items so you never get bored of the same thing.

Before starting our day, my wife and I wanted a quick bite and some coffee. I searched the Unilocal app and found this place. It’s actually a pretty cool place — I don’t think I’ve ever been to a place like this before. You walk in and it’s like a deli/buffet/coffee shop, if you can follow any of that logic. They had 2 big buffet sections — 1 with hot breakfast food and the other with different fruits and other items. I only got a granola bar to eat since I didn’t want to have a big breakfast, but the food at the buffet looked very good. It wasn’t your typical buffet food that looked like it had been sitting out for days — this looked very fresh. I grabbed a granola bar, a cup of coffee and a Gatorade. There were even tables to sit down at and eat. All in all, a very cool place and everything was reasonably priced. If I lived in the area, I could definitely see myself coming here on a regular basis.

Watch out. This restaurant will scam you if you don’t keep track of how they swipe your card. I thought the cashier was acting sketchy, but I was with a bunch of people and didn’t think much of it. Turns out I was double charged for my lunch. I come here(Salad Too Grill) all the time but now, under new ownership, I’ve been screwed. Don’t. Go. Here.

Oh I’m thrilled. Simple ecstatic. There’s good, moderately affordable food near work again. Ding-Dong Salad Too Grill is DEAD! YAY!!! About time. Last week, S2G shuttered and a Jack’s Fresh opened it its place. Sure sure, friendly new faces and ownership in their spiffy Jack’s Fresh aprons and ball caps. But more importantly — WAY better chef cooking up food. And way more variety to go with it. All that’s missing is their new sign — which is in transit somewhere the staff said. Two weeks and I’ve already been in for ½ a dozen breakfasts and lunches. And everything so far has been exceptional — from the puffy biscuits with gravy in the morning to the juicy chicken wings and spicy shrimp cocktail with pea pods I’m enjoying right now. Oh and the salad bar — night and day different in the quality and variety of items. Certainly not going to mind having cold prepared salads(currently I’m partial to the avocado, mozzarella and plum tomato one) or rabbit food /‘build-your-own’ type anymore. The only familiar face from the old crew thus far appears to be one of the guys from the sandwich area. Some of the sandwich options are gone from the board — but all the standard ones are still there(and yes Franch Fries is still misspelled at the moment) including my old standby the C1 — Italian sub. Since this was the only thing good anymore at S2G I’m hoping its the only lasting memory.
