Keely and I had the pleasure of seeing the Jim Henson gallery here and I must say that I left impressed. The crowds were small and we were able to spend time at each piece without feeling rushed and claustrophobic. It was great to see some original Jim Henson Muppets displayed(they had a lot of replicas as well) and it was great to see all of Jim Henson’s «other» work. They showed a lot of footage of the early Muppets and they had early sketches of creatures that turned into Muppets later. They had a «creature creation wall» where a lot of the little kids were using their imaginations to create creatures using Velcro eyes, noses and mouths. As Jim Henson’s imagination inspired a generation of kids and adults, it’s great to see that they went to great lengths to be «kid-friendly» and put their imaginations to work in this exhibit.
