We develop and teach customized onsite courses in technical writing, including writing technical reports, root cause analysis reports, and specs; scientific writing, including writing the scientific manuscript and writing deviation and lab reports and other scientific documents; writing standard operating procedures (SOPs); business writing, including writing proposals, emails, memos, business letters, and business reports; and writing for pharma, including writing various forms of clinical documentation.

Our suite of online classes in technical writing, scientific writing, business writing, writing fundamentals, and writing the scientific manuscript are unique in that they offer voiced lectures, downloadable supplements, and writing options on which participants receive feedback. We also edit and write scientific and technical documents, including grants, proposals, and SOPs.

History

Established in 1988.

Hurley Write, which is certified as a women-​owned business both by WBENC and WOSB, was founded in 1988 and incorporated in 2000.

Hurley Write has developed and taught customized writing workshops for a wide variety of professionals in a large number of small and large organizations, including The National Institutes of Health, The Chemical Safety Board, Stryker Orthopaedics, Pfizer, Celgene, BiogenIdec, Dillard’s, Motorola, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Sikorsky Aircraft, Bristol-​Myers Squibb, and Southern California Edison, and BiogenIdec, to name a few.

Business Owner

Pam, an award-​winning lecturer, has published various articles related to writing in many different journals and trade publications, including The Monitor, Biotechnology Focus, The Federal Register, and Training Magazine. Pam is also an experienced technical writer who has written and edited standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical and user manuals, and other technical reports and documents.
