I didn’t use this doctor, but I dealt with receptionist. They refuse to answer very basic questions, instead, ignore you, then prompt you to make an appointment for a consultation.
I asked basic questions about the doctor’s experience with fillers. Answer: «His CV is on his website. You can book an appointment to ask him further questions.» The correct answer should have been, «He has _​_​_​and _​_​_​experience with the filler you’re asking about.»
Asked about one of the two techniques available for administering said filler. The receptionist can either pick door A or door B. There is no other door. There are no other methods of administering this filler. Her answer, «You can book an appointment and go over that with him.» Rather than answering the question so I can make an informed decision, she weasels out of answers and prompts me to make an appointment.
Doesn’t inspire confidence in this practice. They make you feel like it’s about a money-​grab instead of a professional medical practice.

Like others on this page I went to see Dr. Chaboki for a second opinion on a deviated septum. The first doctor I met with was fine, but cancelled appointments and my scheduled surgery due to personal conflicts. A friend recommended I look for another ENT and based on Unilocal reviews I went to see Dr. Chaboki. I’m so glad I did. He spent a lot of time walking me through the surgery and what the aftercare would be. On the day of my surgery he spent time with me before and after the procedure to make sure everything was set. He even called me and my boyfriend that evening to check in and gave me his cell number if I needed anything. I was very happy with my improved breathing after the procedure and would highly recommend Dr. Chaboki to anyone in need of his help.

I was referred to Dr. Chaboki by my primary care provider to diagnose and treat an issue that had stumped both another surgeon and a dermatologist. Dr. Chaboki was extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. He was honest about the potential outcomes of different treatment options. I elected for an in-​office procedure and everything went as planned. Scheduling was a breeze and his office staff were pleasant. I felt I was in good hands, and it was a relief to finally get an answer about what was going on. I recommend him highly.

I went to Dr Chaboki for a second opinion on getting Septoplasty/​Rhinoplasty for a deviated septum. The first surgeon/​ENT in Northern Va I went to seemed competent, but his staff was a mess and had turned over completely 3x in 6 months. This was a red flag to me so after much review of reviews and agonizing over who to go to I contacted Dr Chaboki and made an appt. This turned out to be a great decision on my part.
When I went to see him, I discussed my concerns and was reassured by the fact that his staff was very professional, and his surgical asst had been with him 7 years.
He had a kind, caring manner and was very thorough in discussing my case. He answered all my questions, and I am one to ask a lot! I like to be in the know and get as much information as possible.
He recommended closed surgery — septoplasty and rhinoplasty that would not only help my breathing, but improve my looks.
His care after surgery was just as impressive. He called that night to check on me and gave me his direct number to call which gave me a lot of security. I had virtually no pain, only discomfort from the swelling. By day 2 I was feeling pretty good and a week out I can breathe so much better! Bruising and swelling has been minimal. My experience with Dr Chaboki and his staff has been excellent. I would highly recommend if you are looking for an ENT.

Dr. Chaboki was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I did a bit of shopping around before getting anything done to compare prices, although it was like pulling teeth to get a price estimate from them. Appointments are on time and efficient. The procedure was easy to schedule (although exclusively during business hours), was done professionally, and is healing nicely. He actually refused to do anything to my nose because he thought the scar would take attention away from my eyes! Although he does not have a warm and fuzzy bedside manner and may not return phone calls efficiently, I think he is a doctor who has his patients’ best interest in mind.

He did a great job with a post trauma evaluation when I had a broken nose and orbital and didn’t take my money unnecessarily. He gave me the option for surgery but told me he didn’t recommend it.
I opted to get it two years later. He did really great work with the Septoplasty to fix my deviated septum. Was thorough with the explanations and was pretty much pain free.

I went to Dr. Chaboki for a deviated septum. After several car accidents and sports injuries, I had a crooked and blocked nose. He recommended a CT scan and possibly surgery. As it turned out, he would need to do a rhino-​septoplasty (break the nose), in order to get my nose straight and for me to breathe better. Of course, my insurance denied the rhinoplasty right off of the bat because they said it was cosmetic in nature. Dr. Chaboki called my insurance company and did a peer-​to-​peer, basically told them that this was medically necessary. I have never had a doctor call my insurance company for me. I was shocked when they decided to cover it! The procedure went smoothly and Dr. Chaboki kept in tough with my mom the entire time. My recovery was explained thoroughly and Dr. Chaboki was extremely kind and helpful every step of the way. I am VERY satisfied with the results! Not only can I breathe again but I have a straight nose for the first time in 15 years. He is an excellent surgeon who really advocates for his patients. As a bonus, his office staff is extremely courteous AND efficient (I never waited more than 5 – 10 minutes). This is rare now a days. I would highly recommend him for any ENT or plastic surgery needs.

I’m writing b/​c I had an excellent experience with Dr. Chaboki! I chose Dr. Chaboki b/​c his office is very close to my office and saw he had pretty good reviews. He worked on my ear and it looks great. However, I wanted to comment on the customer service. He is extremely punctual and professional and very easy to talk to. I never waited more than 5 min before an apt.
He always asked me if I had any questions and never rushed me during my apt, something I see in a lot of doctors. Excellent customer service; my ear looks great! I would highly recommend!

I originally went to Dr. Chaboki to have two small white bumps removed (one from my cheek and one from my chin). During the consultation, I decided to ask about having an otoplasty (as my ears have always stuck out). Dr. Chaboki patiently answered all of my questions about both procedures, and ultimately, this was the reason I decided to have both done. He even allowed me to schedule to have them done in one day (my preference). Because the doctor was extremely thorough in the consultation– letting me know about the details of the procedure, the possible side effects, etc.- I was completely prepared and knew exactly what to expect.
Dr. Chaboki’s estimate of how long the procedures would take was spot on, and I left the office exactly as expected. The office was extremely flexible with making both the original appointment as well as both of my followups. Later in the afternoon/​early evening after the procedures, I did experience some extreme pain (as expected), but was easily able to get in touch with the doctor on his cell phone to express my concerns. He advised me of some methods to reduce the pain, and make me more comfortable. He even called again later that evening to make sure everything was going okay!
I would highly recommend Dr. Chaboki if you are seeking a patient, responsive, and professional doctor!

**SHORT BUT IMPORTANT REVIEW**
The only reason why I give him a star is because Unilocal hasn’t come up with negative stars.
I am middle aged woman that desired to look and feel better about my facial appearance. About a year ago I came online and read reviews about different doctors on the DMV area. At that moment it seemed to me that Dr Chaboki was the real deal. I was treated by him and after the surgery I had several secondary effects that he was not able to diagnose leaving me shocked and worried that a renounced specialist like him could not diagnose post operatory conditions that had caused infection and stiffness on my neck. After a couple unsuccessful appointments with him I had to contact my primary care doctor and received and MRI (extra expenses.) who was able to diagnose and treat Dr. Chaboki’s wrong doings. A year after that nightmare I still look the same but with more bills to pay due to his inefficiency to diagnose and treat properly.
If you have the enough funds to hire Dr. Chaboki you might as well go somewhere else.

I’m writing a review simply because I want others to know about Dr. Chaboki. I know the frustrations of finding a reliable doctor, because there really isn’t any reliable source, other than word of mouth.
I found Dr Chaboki on a national database of doctors. I was looking for doctors who perform specific procedures in this immediate area. He was the only one who resulted in the search. It was worth giving it a shot and going in for a consultation. The thing that I really like about Dr Chaboki’s practice is that there is a low consultation fee, unlike other offices that charge several hundreds for a consultation. And some offices will not apply the full cost of the consultation towards the procedure. Dr. Chaboki’s low consultation fee can be applied in full to any procedure in the next 3 months.
So if you have questions and are looking for an expert opinion on how to address your specific needs… rest assured, Dr Chaboki will offer expert opinion at a low consultation fee. I respect Dr Chaboki even more because he told me that I did not need to perform the procedure, and he advised against it, versus other doctors who would persuade me it is a good idea, and also try to sell other services as well.
Dr. Chaboki’s costs are a little bit higher than others, but in my opinion, it is worth it because it comes with the reassurance of knowing an expert is handling my face.

He is very impersonal — does not seem to care much about either you or your symptoms. When I tried to follow up on my treatment over the phone he did not return my phone calls. I switched to a different doctor and now am getting quality care.

I thought I was overly sensitive, but after a visit in his office I left in tears.
I went to see my dermatologist about a growth on my scalp. After talking to her and getting a second opinion I found out it was some sort of cyst not a mole.
Long story short, went to see Dr. Chaboki, he explained that it was a keloid. When I questioned why I would get a keloid if I’ve never hand one before (I just wanted to know), he go irritated and said that it was an ingrown hair because ingrown hairs are prevalent in African Americans. The over generalization and short tone I found to be highly offensive.
We met for a total of 6 minutes, I felt completely beaten down and irritated. The final blow was when he told me that they would like to schedule me for surgery, and if his secretary didn’t call me by next Wednesday to go ahead and give them a call.
Needless to say, I didn’t receive a call the schedule surgery that next week. But they did call me 1.5 months later to call and not even leave a message. I only knew it was them because I googled the number.
This was all back in April 2012. I guess the funniest part is that now in August, I get sent a bill (4 months later).
I’ve thought about not Unilocaling this, but I just had to get it off of my chest.
And for the degradation of 6 minutes.

Dr. Chaboki is fantastic! He did a great job fixing my fractured jaw a few years ago. He is always kind kind and professional, and is probably one of the best Dr. s you can see in DC for all of his specialities. Highly recommend!

I went to Dr. Chaboki for a small pre-​cancerous spot removal on my face. It was in a difficult spot below my eye where the soft tissue meets the cheek. I was a little nervous because I had never had a procedure like this before and didn’t really know what to expect. Dr. Chaboki took ample time to go over the procedure and answer any questions I had explaining everything in great detail. He is very easy to talk to.
The procedure went very smoothly. While Dr. Chaboki worked he explained to me and the two residents in the room exactly what he was doing in a very calm and confident manner. I felt in good hands. I was expecting bruising around my eye and around the procedure area afterward but there was none; Dr. Chaboki is very careful, precise and gentle.
A few days after my procedure Dr. Chaboki personally called to see how I was doing and to give me my biopsy results. I was impressed! He really gives personalized attention to his patients.
It’s been a little over a week and you can barely see a mark on my face… That’s saying a lot considering I had six stitches. He does great work! I would recommend Dr. Chaboki hands down!

Dr Chaboki is a wonderful doctor and his staff is kind and responsive. He takes the time to look at your problem, properly diagnose you, and is very ethical and professional. I would never hesitate to recommend him to a friend. If you’re looking for the best of the best, you’ve found him!

I have been going to Dr. Chaboki for an ear lobe repair on both of my ears. He is by far the BEST doctor I’ve been to (yes this has happen to me many times!). His bed-​side manners are the best, and he doesn’t make me feel like I’m being rushed, which is so important to me. The ultimate for me is Dr. Chaboki still found time in his busy schedule to see me even after I was almost an hour late for my appt (DC traffic). He was extremely understanding. I would recommend Dr. Chaboki to anyone!!!

I had been having severe sinus headaches and infections for almost a year before I was referred to Dr. Chaboki by my allergist at GW. (Not her fault, though, a doctor in another city misdiagnosed the headaches.) When I met Dr. Chaboki, I found him to be realistic about my treatment options. He knew that surgery might need to happen and when we did determine that surgery was the best option, he made sure I completely understood the risks, procedure and recovery. He did not try to sugar coat the surgery and did not make any guarantees that the surgery would work, but still felt very positive about the outcome and gave me hope for getting rid of the constant pain I was having. On the day of the outpatient surgery, he and his team communicated very clearly with my partner and even gave us his cell phone number so we could reach him that evening if I was having any problems (instead of having to call the resident on call). I can honestly say that since the surgery almost a year ago, I have not had a single sinus infection and the headaches have significantly subsided.
When I go back for my follow up appointments, Dr. Chaboki ALWAYS makes sure to answer all of my questions and fully explain things. Even when I think my questions are done, he asks me what other questions I have. On my last visit, I asked him if one of the prescriptions he was recommending came in a generic form and he happily prescribed the version that did. He recognized my financial situation and put that ahead of the need to keep the drug companies in business. He said that he wanted to give me a prescription for something I would and could actually take instead of something that was cost prohibitive. It takes me an hour to get to his office, but I appreciate his wisdom, care and compassion so much that I continue to see him as needed for follow up.
His staff is equally good. His scheduling team always makes sure I can get to an appointment when it’s convenient for me and there have been several times where I have been able to see him on the same day I called to make the appointment. They are great about getting messages to him and calling back with the answers to my questions within a few hours.
If you are searching for an ENT in the DC area, Dr. Chaboki is the one to see. Not only is he an outstanding doctor, he’s just a good person.

I was referred to Dr. Chaboki from my primary care physician to check out a lump on my neck. He was fantastic, he really asked a lot of questions and listened to me, and his staff was nice and it was easy to make follow-​up appointments. He decided to go ahead and do a lot of tests rather than «waiting it out» and because of that, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Disease much earlier than I would have been with another doctor.
