Hertz Rent A Car

I don’t even know where to start with this place. Don’t bother with this location unless you want a guaranteed headache. The type of clientele I saw enter this place should have told me everything I needed to know. It’s a shame I already went through the process of obtaining the car and was just waiting on keys, which literally took hours to get. The customer service agent was doing his best to keep us entertained during the wait until he had to go work another location with no staff. It became unbearable when the keys will be here in 30 minutes. became an hour, then I think driver is in traffic so another 15 min… became another hour. Then not getting offered an upgrade not that there were choices, the same type of car was parked in the garage, added to the disappointment. Calling Hertz corporation for help was another mistake, shortest hold time is 13 minutes, ok that is what speakers are for, ok wrong department, no problem, please transfer, oh wrong department again and again until the dreaded the right department is closed for the weekend. Are you kidding me?! What kind of joke is this! It is so not funny, I’m crossing Hertz off my rental list. I wanted to say it is just the location but after the treatment from multiple employees on the helpline, something is clearly wrong with their operation.

If I could go starless I would. This location should be closed. First My friend and I had to call to remind them of a pick up we had request in advance. The driver was late and although he did apologize the service from Then on after just proceeded to get worse. Let’s just say we got picked up at 2:00 to give you a time frame. When paid and had our receipt on hand by 2:30. Ok. We never got out rental till minutes after 5. Yes 5. Think back when I said we had to call to get our already request pick up. That same car he picked us up in was out rental. This place is short on rentals and staff. Ohh yea and that 2 ½ plus hours we waited was not in hertz it was with the security at the Verizon center because the man running the front desk at this location had to go run service at another location that was sort staff. When we finally got our car it was musty and dirty. (Sadly we could get another rental as there where serval homecomings this weekend we rented and no other car companies to tent from on sort notice .) The gentleman never even checked the gas, for damage to the care or anything. Nothing to standard rental car procedure. Only rent from here is you are desperate !
