Love, love, love this place! It is the best for buying sneakers. They have a lot of different brands. The owner is very nice! I would most definitely recommend a visit to this shop.

i love this fucking place. i have been a sneaker-​head since i was born. i moved to DMV from CALIFORNIA i gotta say that GT PLAYERS have been hooking me up on sneakers from day one till now. they always hook me up with great deals and also gives me discounts or any Nike’s and Jordan’s. what i love the most about this store is that they have some old school collections that no other sneaker spot got. plus like i said the price is hella good. i love the owners they are hella nice.

The shoes I liked were 99 dollars, according to the salesman. They were some stylish patent leather nike cross trainers, and I hadn’t seen the anywhere else in town. I didn’t want a new pair of shoes, though, so I went on browsing the store. Then the sales guy came up to me again:
«You try them on, I make a special price.»
As I said, I didn’t even want the shoes… but I was curious – it had been four months since my trip to India, and I was nostalgic for bargaining. I tried them on and he knocked off ten bucks. That’s when I got in to it…
«…Oh, I don’t know.» I was saying «My avias were only 60. These don’t seem breathable. What’s the material, anyway?»
«Material?» he said, «This is full grain leather.»
«It’s not full grain,» I said. (In bargaining, always invent bogus faults to bring the value down)
«Not full grain!?» he shouted, «This is Airmax 9!» Then, after scowling awhile, he said: «I’ll give you 80.»
«Give me 60.»
«70,» he hissed as I walked out the store, quiet enough that other customers wouldn’t hear. It was a damn good price, actually – turns out that those shoes are $ 89.99 on Eastbay. Really I shouldn’t be writing about this on Unilocal,because I don’t want to hurt the man’s business by spreading word of secret low prices… but the point is these guys will bargain, and I like that about the store.
Overall a good place to find the newest, rare, and vintage shoes. A good selection – just don’t get pressured into buying something you don’t want, because these are shrewd salesmen.
