Cab driver tried to charge extra for our family even though window posting stated rate. He argued the fee in window was an old price chart. Argued about the meter too. When we asked him for his ID he said he did not have it. This cab was outside our high end hotel and seems to take advantage of tourists. Glad we made it safely to airport. Stay away from this company!

Worst cab experience EVER!!! I got this company’s cab next to Mayflower hotel and asked to be driven to Arlington via 66. He starts driving in circles, not where I ask him to go. He starts taking me toward Old Ebbitt — racks up at least a few extra dollars in the process as I keep telling him to go to K street and take the shortest route.
I think the reason this guy waits by Mayflower is to prey on tourists who don’t know their way around.
He got really rude when I asked him to take the route I wanted and yelled at me to take another cab if i didn’t like his driving,
This is a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE company, stay as far away as you can.

Terrible encounter with a Georgetown Cab Association driver (cab #491) last night (06/​30/​2011) on H Street near H & 10th St. NE. Driver cut us off while in pedestrian walkway, and when I asked him politely about it a few minutes later (after he had dropped of his fare) he began cursing and threatening violence. Quite scary.
