Couldn’t get an appointment. I had an Amazon Local voucher for a car detail. I called, and was curtly told to email to the email address on the voucher. Wouldn’t entertain talking to me or talking about appointment times. (The voucher says to call or email, so I tried to call first.) So, then I sent an email with my voucher number and the dates/​times that I was looking for. I got an auto-​reply, asking me for various details. I responded with all of the requested details, and got the exact same auto-​reply. I figured that it was now in the system and that they would respond when they got to it. A few days later I emailed again, with all of the information, asking if they had received and were processing my request. I got the same auto-​response asking me for information (that I provided 3 times). I waited a few more days, and after no reply, I requested a refund from Amazon Local.

The car was outstanding he did a great job actually cleaning the car. Could not be more impressed with the work.

However all of the convenience of a mobile business was not there — he was not on time. I had a 9:30 appointment — he called at 9:30 to say he would be late — — this is not acceptable. We made an appointment and discussed time and this is DC — there is always traffic. For a new customer and your own business you get there early. Gary was not apologetic — I know being on time is my thing — but as the business owner, I wanted Gary to care a bit more. .
Again the car was super clean — his work is AMAZING. But his timing was bad and at the time if I had other options I would have gone with a different option.
If you use him — make sure to stress the importance of him getting there on time

Gary did a great job on my minivan, it was nice and clean and the carpets were dry. My sister in law had her car detailed (by another company) and the whole interior was damp for days. Gary was on time and finished when he said he would. I will use them again and I definitely recommend Gary.

Gary came to my job in Arlington and did a great job on my truck. I don’t know how the other reviewer got it so wrong. I guess we just have different standards. When dealing with an operation like this you’re kind of doing the same thing as booking an appointment with an M.D. or D.D.S. They’re available when they have openings. I’m sure if you got onto a regular cycle Gary would do fine. Again, my truck was clean and it was done at my job. Life is good.
