Exec Cleaning & Maid Service

Unreliable service ever!!! Don’t use their service!!! We had a party and we want the cleaning crew for the next day. So I made a booking online 3 days before the service and got confirmation email from them. Then they cancelled the appointment last minute and we wasted our time to wait for them. They should cancel a day before so we can find someone else to come. So disappointed. I’ll never use their service again.

I also used them from a Groupon offer. The two stars isn’t really about the cleaning — they did a great job — but the groupon I purchased was for 3 hours. They claimed this was enough for a standard 1 bed, 1 bath 1000 sq ft apartment. My apartment is kept pretty clean and clutter free, yet they spent the entire 3 hours on 2 rooms. I appreciate the thoroughness, but they worked on the 2 smallest rooms and I didn’t notice a huge difference from the other cleaning services I’ve used that are able to clean the entire apartment in 3 hours.

Basically they never showed up. I booked online and got a confirmation but when I called they said they had no record of me. It threw off my whole move and I definitely regret trying to book with them.

I purchased a 3-​hour cleaning for $ 39 (tip included) from GROUPON for Exec Cleaning and I could not be happier with the service!
I purchased the GROUPON on Monday and immediately was able to get my cleaning scheduled for 2 days later on Wednesday at 8 a.m. (2 thumbs up!). I recieved a confirmation email from Exec immediately following the scheduling and a few hours later I was sent another email with our cleaning persons name and phone number (a big plus in my book).
The day of the cleaning I recieved a text one hour prior to her arrival. At 8 a.m. on the dot Patricia arrived ready to go. I had to leave for work soon after she began so I was a little nervous, mainly because we have a dog and I didn’t want her to feel annoyed that the dog kept following her around but she assured me it was no problem. By the time I left for work she was busy working on the bathroom and our dog had left her alone (phew!).
When I got home from work today I was MORE than pleased. Our 3-​level townhouse is now in ammmmazing condition thanks to Patricia. And it must be noted that I am a clean freak so I am very particular about how clean my house is but we recently had a baby and I just did not have the time or energy to clean. That being said, I was expecting to come home and be somewhat disappointed because admittedly, my expectations are probably highwe than the average bear. But much to my surprise the house looks so nice, smells fresh and hasn’t been this clean since before our baby was born. Everything down to the front of the dishwasher is perfectly clean. I honestly don’t think our kitchen counters have ever been this clean and my disgusting bathroom is now looking shiny and new!
I wish I could personally hug Patricia; she just made my month! Thank you so much, Exec. I would definitely recommend this company and will probably use them again when life gets overwhelming again.

I am very disappointed in the service. My maid did not show up, and made me waited for her for 4 hours. My booking was at 2 pm. At 8:30 am in the morning, I received a call from the cleaner asking if I have a vacuum because her company-​given one is broken. I said no, and she said she will be here at 2 pm. At 1:30 pm, she called and said she will be 15 minutes late. At 2:30 pm, she still hasn’t showed up and called me saying she will be here by 3. After that, I have never heard from her. She told me she has lost her company given phone, and the phone number provided by exec went straight to voicemail. Yes, I used a groupon, but this kind of service is not acceptable. I tried calling exec customer service, after being on hold for 10+ minutes three times, I give up.

I got a deal through GROUPON for a 3.5 hour cleaning, and I am so glad I did! The lady, Esther, came bright and early (7am) as we were leaving for work, and she was very nice. She apologized for being — few min late and I reassured her that it was fine. She used my paper towels and garbage bags, but she supplied everything else. My hardwoods are shining and my carpet looks great. The bathrooms have never looked better, either. She made the beds, loaded the dishwasher, and did the interior windows (extra charge for those). I highly recommend this company (and especially Esther!)

First, I should say that I bought a Groupon voucher for this service. That is no excuse for the poor service that I received.
Yolanda B. blatantly did not complete about half of the items on the standard cleaning checklist, even though she checked them off the sheet that she left on our table. Our voucher was for a 2-​hour cleaning, and she only stayed for one hour and didn’t manage to do anything but swiffer the floors and do a poor vacuuming job, as far as we could tell. We had to leave the house after she arrived and did not stand over her shoulder to check her work, but if we had time to do that, we’d also have time to clean the house ourselves and wouldn’t need a maid service!
Don’t waste your time. You’ll do a better job in 15 minutes on your own.

Having never hired a cleaning service I wasn’t sure what to expect. But, this experience completely blew me away. I recently moved and that was an exhausting process. The last thing I wanted to do was clean my old place. I expected to hire the service but still have some work to do once it was over. Baaracka, my provider, left the place cleaner than it’s ever been. Probably cleaner than it was before anyone ever even lived there. I can’t say enough good things about her and my experience with Exec. She was prompt, she was friendly, accommodating and extremely professional. Sadly, they don’t service the area I just moved to or I’d be signed up for reoccurring services.

This was one of the worst cleaning service I have ever experienced.
There are a few good things.
1. is was very easy to get an appointment
2. text messaging was a nice touch.

I made an appointment for 1100 on a monday for a 3 hr cleaning
The horrible things about my experience:
1. My maid called me at 1100 and told me she was on the way. (she is already late)
2. 10 min later she calls me asking for my address (???, weren’t you already on the way?)
3. She calls me ½ hr later saying she is lost and has now found her way to my house and will be there in 10 min.
4. She arrives at my house at 1 pm. (2 hrs late)
5. I tell her areas of the house that I would like special attention ie. bathroom, floor, kitchen. I come back to the house in 2 hrs. and she has left for the day, the floors still have dirty spots and dust, the kitchen was never wiped down and the bathrooms look like a quick wipe down with a wet paper towel. (I could have done that in less than 3 hrs)
This service was horrible to say the least. Please use another company.

This was a great cleaning experience. I loved how easy it was to book and the text message updates. I happened to be home this time, but it’s great to know that if I want to schedule while I’m at work I could still know when they came and left.
As far as the cleaning itself, they did a great job. We have 3 dogs that seem to greatly enjoy shedding on every piece of floor and furniture. Exec did a great job of cleaning up the pet hair and cleaning the usual areas (kitchen, bathrooms). They even tidied my vanity, which was a monstrosity of jewelry and make up. It was great and much more than I expected.

These guys were really good. We have a large row house (4BR, 3.5 BA) that’s 2500 square feet, so we’re used to our cleaners missing attention to detail or simply not having time to get to every part of the house. This wasn’t the case with the Exec cleaning service. The maids asked us if we wanted them to focus on anything in particular, which I’m usually hesitant to do since it can be a trade-​off with other aspects of the cleaning. But they paid special attention to the floors when we asked (without sacrificing quality elsewhere). As others have mentioned, the functionality of the booking and communication process is really sleek and effective, and allows you to communicate with the cleaners via text message in case they have questions, where other services simply make assumptions about how you want things done. Exec definitely stands out in terms of value and ease.

I was totally impressed with Exec. The booking was really easy: I liked that they texted me to confirm and texted me throughout the process. At one point they had a question about where to take out the trash in my apt building. I was happy to share this info, of course, but I wouldn’t have been able to without this direct line of communication to the cleaning staff. I was very happy to come home to a spotless apartment — they even cleaned out my fridge & oven! My husband is still trying to figure out how exactly they cleaned our old double-​paned windows. He hasn’t been able to get them this clean, after months of trying. All in all, great service!

Paid for 4 br/​3 bth cleaning recently since I wanted them to clean up an area in my basement in addition to 3 br upstairs. Also, asked for the extras of oven and interior windows.
PROs — Website was definitely easy to navigate and quick to set up/​adjust services online, which is mostly why I chose to try the service.
CONs — Actual cleaning service was seriously lacking and attention to detail was terrible. For example, they didn’t really clean the floors in the kitchen even though they said they did — a simple Clorox wipe picked up leftover dirt. They also tried to leave before cleaning the basement area even though they allotted 2 more hours for my house. Customer service also was okay on the first chat, but when calling them, they said they’d look into it and call me back. One week later, no call back.
REC — Do NOT waste the extra money just cause of the ease of booking and name makes it feel like a premium service. The actual service quality is poor and you could get a maid from another service at half the cost to do a much better job.

Just had my 1 bedroom apartment cleaned (first time professionally) and opted for the oven, fridge, and windows «extras». They were super friendly when they arrived and asked us if there was anything in particular we wanted them to focus on.
They were able to finish the cleaning in less time than estimated, plus getting a text when they’re done and they’ve locked the door behind them is great! Overall happy with the company and service, but felt the actual results left us wanting. See below for pros-​cons:
PROS:
— Loved how easy their website is to navigate. Booking is very similar to apple genius bar. I liked that they had a calculator in the side column that kept a tally of the cost based on what features you selected (# of bedrooms, bathrooms, «extras») so you always knew exactly what you were being charged for.
— They sent 2 very friendly and efficient cleaners who brought their own cleaning supplies and showed up on time.
— Oven, stove, and fridge were all done very well with great attention to detail.
CONS:
— A little disappointed with attention to detail on other surfaces throughout the apartment. Some were dusted but they ignored large areas that needed wiping. (glass coffee table left with water/​coffee marks) Others were not dusted or wiped at all. (window sills, baseboards)
— Had high hopes for the bathroom, but were bummed when we saw the final result. We do have an unusual bathroom (pebble floors and all glass shower) but seemed like they spent a very short amount of time here. Crevasses on floor still dirty, shower glass looked murky. Lots of dirt completely ignored.
Overall, I think it’s important to factor in that they’re a new company and it’s the first time cleaning my apartment so there’s still some quirks to be worked out. That said, I have high hopes for them as a company and look forward to seeing them improve. They’ve really thought through the full customer experience and that’s hard to come by, so I anticipate the level of cleaning quality will soon catch up!

They cleaned my apartment which I had never had professionally cleaned, and made it look new. They cleaned me and my roommate’s rooms well, cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms nicely. Texted me when they were done, and it was very easy to set up appointments. The workers were very professional.

Good work at an excellent price, and it’s great to be able to book /​pay online. I had a couple minor issues that would work themselves out with regular service or with more communication on my part about what details are particularly important to me. Housekeeping service is something that generally gets better and better as you go along (as they get to know you, your place, and how you like things done, and as they get to more details every visit). So I’ll definitely be using them again.

Excellent service. Will use again. Also has a very user-​friendly interface for scheduling appointments. Kind of like Über-​meets apartment cleaning.
