Was here Nye, visiting from buffalo. The place was busy. I couldn’t tell if I was drunk or if the food was just good but I enjoyed! you literally get ½ a pizza. Great for drunk food!

Order two slices, should’ve ordered one. I don’t know if it’s a D.C. thing, or just Dupont, but slices are huge. Agree with other review, fills u up, unfortunately quality is extremely lacking. On the other hand, staff was better.

Deliciousness !! New York pizza in a cozy family friendly environment. The pizza comes fresh out of the oven and you can enjoy right away while watching a game on their big screen.

This is the place you go when you just want some pizza but don’t necessarily care about the quality. Basically, if you’re intoxicated, you’re in the area, and don’t want to wait long, then this is the place to be. If you want a quality/delicious pizza, go to Pizza Paradiso across the street instead. I want to give like 3.5 stars, but this place is a solid 3 since when the worker warmed my pizza, it was hardly warm and the cheese was hardly melty. It was like he put it in the microwave for 5 seconds. It is what it is though, so if you need that last second pizza before going home, come to Dupont Pizza.

Solid late night slice. Carryout was pretty fast. If you order the supreme, beware: it will be sparsely arrayed with veggies. I’ll just stick to the plain cheese or pep– can’t beat the value!

Tuesday 11PM with a late night pizza craving? Thank goodness DuPont was en route home! One of the things that makes me sad about living in DC and any other American city other than NYC is that everything closes basically when the sun goes down in the summer. After hoping Alberto’s was open, we realized another [open] option was right next door. So major props for NYC pizza with NYC hours, even on weekdays! Food-wise, props to the value — $ 5 tax included gets you a gigantic slice they cut in half for you so you can actually eat it. I had the pepperoni/sausage and friend had the vegetarian. Both of us left satisfied of our pizza hankerings.

Great NY style pizza. Everyone else doing pizza in the Dupont area are doing it wrong(ie they are thicker crusts or froo froo artsy fartsy pizzas). If you want a mega NY slice of cheese, pepperoni, or pepperoni and sausage this place is for you. I’ve only tried the pepperoni and sausage but it was good. Four stars for quality, customer service, and operating hours.

The only pro was that this place was cheap. but the pizza quality was not great. A frozen pizza would’ve been better. Super greasy, not fresh… Maybe if I were drunk I would’ve appreciated it? It was like $ 5 for a huge slice… I don’t think I would go back sober though.

Since when does a pizza place run out of sauce? Tried ordering extra sauce with my pizza and the lady with a mustache said they couldn’t give me sauce. Rude and ridiculous. Pizza was sub par. Go next door to Alberto’s. Much better choice — at least they have sauce.

A small cheese pizza with two toppings was 9.50 $ excluding tax. I ordered mushroom and grilled chicken as toppings, and expected around 5 min to pick it up. Minutes later I received a call saying they don’t have chicken and my order is going to be ready in 15 min. so I had to pick another topping picking beef; they only had beef steak(I’m trying to avoid peparoni and sausage cuz they have pork) The pizza was amazing ! They do it right the way you want it and make sure of it. The price definitely worth it. Excellent service, they also have ready made pizza if you’re in a hurry. Definitely gonna order again, can’t wait for the new menu to come up :)

The place has $ 4 slices of pizza which are essentially ¼th of a large pizza(ie. they’re HUGE). They’re open late and great if you want to quench that pizza /late night food craving with friends. I would definitely come back to this place!

It’s probably more of a 2.5 and that’s mostly for its convenience. The pizza isn’t bad, but definitely not NY style. I do appreciate the enormous slices. I mean one slice is equivalent to 2 normal slices, so you can’t beat that. Additionally they cater to the late night crowd in Dupont, so when you’re out at 3am and need some food, they’ll be there for you. I’ve come here for that purpose, as well as just grabbing a quick slice after my night class. There are much better quality options, but when I’m in the area and need a fix, they’re clutch.

Staff will add a tip for them self. After the USA world cup win over Ghana on Monday I went into Dupont Pizza at the end of the night. They were closing up and the guy who was working the counter seemed nice. After a $ 4 slice I added $ 1 for a tip. Upon looking at my credit card statement, I found that I had been charged $ 15, meaning that my friend at Dupont Pizza added a ‘1’ to my tip line and total to give himself a nice $ 11 tip to end the night. As someone who has worked in the food service industry, this is outrageous, especially for a late night pizza spot. This has made me mad enough to post my first Unilocal review. Avoid this place, there is plenty of decent late night food in the area that will not steal your money!

Went in because they were playing«blurred lines». Also, they were open. Also, they were roughly seven steps closer than Alberto’s, and steps were at a premium. Pizza is quite delicious. Would recommend. B++++

I always go to Dupont Pizza when I’m craving a slice of pizza! Not only is it cheap, but the pizza is pretty tasty! They give you a fourth of the pizza and slice it in half to give you two large thin slices for $ 5. I always get their Hawaiian & pepperoni pizza, which is absolutely delicious. Yes, it is a hole in the wall, but do you expect anything less from a slice-on-the-go kind of place? It’s clean, cheap and yummy. So… I ask, why not?

Stopped in this hole in the wall after have an awful experience at Ping Pong. I understand the other reviews being not so hot, but please it’s a little run down pizza joint that you go into to get a slice and a soda. This is just like the pizza places I grew up by in New York. Quick, simple, tasty. Done

A couple of reasons to like this place — 1. Cheap pizza 2. Grab and go in DuPont with convenience without the price tag. A couple of reasons to dislike this place — 1. The toppings are not that thick with little sauce in them. 2. Pizza looks like it has been sitting out awhile and isn’t the best tasting.
