Double R Productions is a full service, woman-​owned communications firm in Washington, DC, specializing in film, television and all manner of media/​web production. Since 1987, Double R projects have included public service announcements, original programming, corporate, non-​profit and association image pieces, along with video news releases and commercials. Double R also works with government agencies on everything from media training and documentaries to interactive video training projects.

Manager

I am the Production Manager for Double R Productions. My job involves working closely with client productions from concept to finish, developing production budgets, maximizing cost efficiency across the board, and assisting with proposals for a wide array of projects. My responsibilities also include coordinating pre-​production and video shoots, video logging and editing, and maintaining friendly relations with customers and their respective organizations, many of which have welcomed the assistance of Double R Productions year after year. I am fluent in Spanish, which enables me to be fully adept at creating and supervising translations for client projects that require English and Spanish versions. In addition, I am proficient with several professional cameras, including the Panasonic HPX 170 P2, Sony Z1U HDV, and the Sony PD-​170 Mini-​DV/​DVCAM.
