History
Established in 2003.
Nestled in Washington, D.C.‘s historic neighborhood, The Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown exemplifies the new standard in modern luxury. The hotel’s unique facility is a restored turn-of-the-century brick factory structure featuring a sizzling lobby fireplace and a towering 130-foot smokestack, speaking to the building as a dramatic symbol of the 1930s waterfront industry. Featuring exposed brick walls, black slate floors, and a long, 25-seat bar, Degrees offers a classic cocktail menu with a contemporary twist including the hotel’s signature drink, the Fahrenheit Five Martini.
Fahrenheit, the hotel’s signature restaurant, reflects the hotel’s warm yet contemporary themed and features innovative, fire-inspired regional cuisine. Fahrenheit uses fresh, regional ingredients from local purveyors. The exposed steel beams and original red brick walls frame massive silk-draped windows that survey the towering Chimney Stack, now an intimate private dining room with light.
