Bernard is great! I go there when I want to look extra-special. I can always find something at a reasonable price. They have items that are unique and different, and made of good quality. Again, highly recommended.

I’ve walked down U street and this place never caught me eye until recently. I went in looking for an outfit to wear to prom… I was probably in the store less than 30 mins. Found exactly what I was looking for and at a great price. Juwan(sp?) was very helpful to what I was looking for. The clothes are definitely not found everywhere and lots of the suits are European fit with slim cuts which is perfect for me as a woman not wanting a boxy regular men’s cut suit. I will still need to have it tailored but all in all a good experience.

I will rate this store as poor customer service, poor clothing, very inefficient personnel, not real customer service oriented. I previously shopped here– not sure who owns this place now– but the location in Baltimore is closed– they also go under the name of WHYNOT– the skill set of the employees are terrible– I WOULDNOT Recommend this store to anyone– find another store– where the service and clothing is reputable– vs. a quick buy! this is my opinion– try it you will see. If you MUST go — DONOTUSETODD as your salesman– he is terrible!

Love this place. Stumbled into it the other night, while walking around U Street and waiting for a friend, and the stuff here is just SWEET. Shoes, cufflinks, and lots of just tight shirts. and the prices are right too. Had some higher end shirts for around $ 35 and more, but then they had a sale rack of $ 20 shirts that were just really nice. Wound up getting one on the spot. Just a great little place — I’ll definitely be back — i love having a place with an LA vibe in the District, and I hope it sticks around for a long time.
