Dc Towing LLC

Its hard to deal with a company that seems so shady and unprofessional but here’s my review.
My car was stolen on a Saturday night and DCPD (DC Police Department) recovered it within 24hrs. and «DC Towing» was called to recover my car and take it to the yard ASAP because it wasn’t drivable. They clearly state that its a 24 hour business so I call them to get the information for my insurance company and i get a guy who answers the phone like he clearly didn’t want to be bothered. When I asked him the address of his business he got short with me. I tried calling him a total of 30 times to have my car towed to a shop with no success i get a ride to his yard, i get the police involved and he finally shows after i sat outside his business for almost 2 hours.
He then tells charges me for two days of storage and tow from the crime scene even though my car wasn’t on his lot for 24 hours. Then my mom got curious and asked why it was so much (he charged us $ 265) He Said «You wouldn’t have to worry about how much I charge because if you HAD FULL-​Coverage your insurance company would be paying for it anyway so i dint know what to tell you, but i gave you a $ 10 discount if you noticed»
I paid for him to tow it the same day, he couldn’t take credit of debit and preferred cash i needed estimates from my mechanic for the damages that Sunday, he never delivered it that day. He delivered it the following day at 3:20p Monday and had my mechanic waiting…
Described in one word… UNPROFESSIONAL!
