We combine soccer skills and fitness drills for adults!

We provide soccer-​specific teaching and training opportunities for adults of all ages, skills sets, and fitness levels in a welcoming and fun space. We offer clinics, classes, tournaments, and personal training for women’s-only and co-​ed groups.

History

Established in 2014.

The DMV loves playing soccer, but sometimes starting back up or learning for the first time can be rough. DC Soccer Sessions was created to help adults learn and brush up on their skills in and fun, and welcoming environment.

Business Owner

Ariel and Elise have been players of the game for over 25 years at the Division 1 or professional level. They both are US Soccer Licensed, and NASM certified personal trainers.

Once upon a time I had a dream of being a star footballer. It was a short lived dream really because I was kind of a lazy kid at heart. So I stuck to pickup games at the beaches & streets I was used to; dream deferred.
Recently, I decided that I’d get back into the sport & a friend suggested taking a class with DC Soccer Sessions as a refresher. I’ve regretted nothing about this decision since! Ariel and Elise are both quite knowledgeable about the sport from technical & fitness standpoints & they offer a rotating variety of classes that support all skill levels. Plus, they are really some of the most supportive & encouraging people I’ve ever had the pleasure of learning from!

This is great soccer training. I’ve been able to take some of the exercises to my recreational league teams and I’ve seen measurable improvement in my playing. Elise and Ariel also are very good about incorporating any suggestions or needs by class participants. I highly recommend DC Soccer Sessions!

I am so happy DC Soccer Sessions was recommended to me by a teammate of mine. I absolutely love going to class to learn new moves, get lots and lots of touches on the ball, and simply having fun playing. Ariel and Elise are so encouraging, supportive, and knowledgeable. I haven’t played soccer since high school so I thought DC Soccer Sessions would be a great way to get back into the game. I joined the beginner class, and I loved the atmosphere and the camaraderie of the group. Both Elise and Ariel were incredibly helpful and encouraging, and I would definitely recommend these sessions (both Level 1 and Level 2) to anyone interested in picking up soccer again or sharpening their skills!

I throughly enjoyed going to the Level 2 class. I play recreational for a coed league, but it was good to learn new skills and brush-​up on the skills I already have in a great environment. Ariel is a great teacher, motivator and gave good constructive feedback. Not only was the class fun, but it was a great workout as well. I just wish the session was longer :)
