History
Established in 1976.
Founded in 1976, DCSDKA is a non-profit tax-exempt school that has been serving the Adams Morgan /Mount Pleasant community long enough to see our students’ children and grandchildren join the school. We have been with D.C. Department of Recreation, All Souls Church, Calvary Church, St. Stephen’s, and since 1996 with Bancroft Elementary School. Our gym is spacious and bright, and houses our mats, bags, and various targets and training tools. We look forward to being here for generations to come.
