Specialties

Each student has their own way of learning. My experience as a teacher and player helps me determine the best way for each student to learn, resulting in the most progress in the least amount of time. I blend many methods to custom fit the needs and desires of each student. Students leave each lesson with a set of exercises to practice until the next lesson — the amount of time the student dedicates at home is directly related to their progress.

Meet the Business Owner

Greggory H.

Business Owner

Gregg is a guitarist as well as a music/guitar teacher. He started to play guitar when he was 14 years old and then set it aside to pursue outdoor adventures in the Florida Keys where he grew up. Finding the passion to play again at age 21, he began his quest to unravel the mysteries of music therapy. Over the years he has written original music, played in many bands, and worked alongside many great musicians. He is currently writing his own guitar instruction book series and video lesson series. In September of 2008, Gregg won the Gibson Guitar Playing Contest at the National Mall in Washington DC. He volunteers as the founder and president of the Washington DC chapter of the children’s music charity Guitars Not Guns. The nonprofit serves foster care and at-risk youth by providing guitars and lessons at no charge.
