Daniels Electric

I was disappointed twice. The owner/​receptionist is very nice and helpful but they keep sending electricians who do little work and just try to undersell the company by offering to do the same work on the side-​even after I asked them not to send someone who would do that-​very awkward.

Had high hopes based on feeback unfortunately unable to review for service quality. Made an appointment for some simple work. At appointment time, no one showed. When I attempted to reach the main number to see if the technician was simply running behind, I got an answering machine (on multiple attemtps), left message, no return call. Called the emergency line in hopes of assistance. Was provided the service tech and number for me to track down. When I did make contact with tech, he seemed to be unaware of the appointment, first said he would be there in 10 minutes and when I questioned where he would be, he needed the address — so clearly no intention of arriving in 10 minutes. When I asked how much longer than 10 minutes — suggested a time several hours later or another day. Frustrated at the apparent disregard for advance notice of eithera no show or a late arrival, called back to the emergency number to cancel.

We had them out to install a new fixture and switch.
Work was done quickly, efficiently, and for the price quoted (which seemed like a reasonable price to us). I would hire them again.

They are direct, pleasant, communicates clearly and very competent.
They do take credit cards.

I had a great experience. I needed to move a light fixture in my kitchen, which involved moving the wires in the drywall, and Daniel’s came through. I had a first estimate from a guy who said it couldn’t be done without ripping up my entire kitchen and costing high hundreds or even thousands of dollars — my second estimate with Daniel’s was that it would be easy and cost $ 150. He did it in an hour and a half and it looks great and cost me exactly what I was quoted. And everyone at Daniel’s is really friendly, too. I highly recommend them.

Positive experience. My dryer was not working and the washer/​dryer repairman told me that it was because the outlet for it was not getting 220 volts and that I needed an electrician. I called Daniels Electric simply because they were close.
Their electrician found that the repairman was wrong — The real problem was that the dryer’s cord was defective. He came back two days later with a replacement cord and installed it. Problem solved.
Both times the electrician showed up when promised, calling beforehand to let me know he was on the way. When here, he was courteous and professional. The total charge was $ 150 which I found reasonable since that covered both visits and the cost of the special dryer power cord. They took a check — not sure if they take credit cards. They seem like a small operation so there’s a good chance they don’t.
