History

Established in 2009.

Culdesac Chauffeur Service started with one vehicle, transporting University of Maryland students to and from venues in downtown D.C. and the local airports. The business specialized in providing clients with safe travel and free entry to night clubs in Washington, D.C. and New York. We used Google calendar for reservations and Square for billing clients back then. Since then, we have grown to offer multiple sedans, SUVs, limousines, and buses in a competitive D.C. market. We now have advanced reservations, billing, vehicle and flight tracking software to ensure the security and accuracy of client information kept on file. Most of our clientele consists of corporate and business professionals, wedding parties, and special events. Each year, client demand has doubled, and we continue to learn ways to innovate and use technology to better serve our clients.

From infancy, I lived on a «culdesac» in a multi-cultural neighborhood in Silver Spring, MD. Culdesac Chauffeur derives its name from my personal experiences dating back to riding a bicycle around the neighborhood and befriending children from all income levels and backgrounds, realizing the one thing that brought us together is consistency. The culdesac always delivered what we expected — a safe haven to play and enjoy one another’s company. Culdesac Chauffeur delivers consistency, quality, and luxury. I check over every reservation that is booked by our staff to ensure accuracy. I purchase brand new vehicles. I clean the vehicles daily. I play an active role in our delivery of customer service by working as dispatcher, detailer, and chauffeur. We do not deserve your business. We must earn it, and our team of professionals understands that each client is an important part of this process. Life gives us enough to worry about. Let us worry about transportation.

Everything was awesome from my initial contact until they dropped the kids off at the house after dinner!!! I would definitely use them again.
Cul de sac helped us out when in a bind. We called them on Tuesday for a Saturday party bus and they came thru. Very professional! Prompt service in all areas! And what was best for me… communication! I knew exactly what was going on throughout the entire process especially since I was not one of the passengers.

I worked with Culdesac to book a limo for my exec for his visit to DC and based on the excellent service and clean car, I’ll work with them again.
I received a confirm of my reservation right away via email and also a copy of the credit card receipt without having to ask. All of the details were included in the emails which was excellent. The price was very reasonable at $ 88 a trip and a standard 20% gratuity.
My VP reported the car was exceptionally clean and the driver was on time.

I know what you’re thinking, wow so many 5 star ratings, this looks suspect? Right,… Wrong. This company was absolutely fantastic! From working with the front office who followed up on my itinerary twice, to our driver Leo who I cant say enough great things about, Culdesac Chauffeur was both professional and friendly during the entire evening.
I rented one of their Lincoln MKZ Limos which had plenty of space for my entire family of 9 including space in the trunk for my grand mothers wheelchair and a few other bags. We were picked up promptly from a graduation (Leo made sure to arrive 15 minutes early) in DC and then driven to Dinner and subsequently to the Jefferson memorial where I surprised my girlfriend in front of our family by proposing. Leo made sure the champagne was plenty chilled and that we even had extra flutes in the limo. He was extremely accommodating with adjusting to our schedule a few times and got us everywhere we needed to be on time.
I would highly recommend them for any important events you need. I will definitely be using them again for all of my future events!

This company is exceptional. Their rates are great and they respond very quickly and will also give you quotes with gratuity ect. Kevin responded to me (within 30min) initially and I was trying to make a last minute reservation. They presented several options and were easily the best value. They were also very flexible and accommodating.
Unfortunately I had to cancel soon after and I knew I would be out the security deposit, but given the circumstances they actually refunded my ENTIRE deposit… even though I didn’t try to fight it. They had no reason other than to provide great customer service and they told me they hoped I would consider them next time! This is the only place I will consider next time for sure.
It also happens to be that my buddy made reservations with Culdesac for his wedding so when I spoke to Sammy she saw the reservation (which was made coincidentally) and we laughed. Anyway it’s a great company to work with and a great value with phenomenal customer service, I couldn’t be happier thanks Sammy!

In the two trips I’ve taken with this service, the drivers have been extremely punctual and communicative, the cars were immaculate, and the trip was perfect. Both drivers were friendly and welcoming. As a bonus, I scheduled Culdesac from my seat on a flight from Vegas to DC after a mix up with the spouse left me without a ride from the airport (totally my fault, too). I called on a Sunday afternoon, reached their scheduling manager and booked a car over the phone in less than 45 seconds. My ride home from the airport was waiting for me when I landed, and I was home 30 minutes later. The prices are reasonable and the service is so smooth and easy. I’ll definitely use them again.

We used CCS for transportation (Escalade) service for 5 passengers to a wedding in Georgetown and then to the reception in Arlington. The vehicle was superb, spotless, comfortable and snazzy, with nice touches like bottled water, mints and tissues. The driver, Ilias, was prompt, professional, helpful, courteous and an excellent driver! We had 2 elderly passengers and a wheelchair, all was handled extremely efficiently. The price was right and all inclusive of gratuity. Sammy who helped with my reservation was very nice and efficient. I highly recommend this service!

I used Culdesac for a doctors appointment that I had at Johns Hopkins. To say the least, and for lack of better word, this service is the absolute best I’ve ever had.
I am so glad I found Culdesac, their efficiency, and professionalism was incredible. The driver (Robert) arrived 20 minutes early to pick me up, was very helpful with taking care of my wheelchair, opening the door, and making sure I was completely comfortable.
Sammy and Johnna were very understanding, professional, and polite. I got the confirmation e-mails immediately after I hung up the phone.
I will be using this service very soon, and Culdesac was very helpful in accommodating my health needs, in terms of which car would be the most suitable.
I highly recommend this service! You will be treated like royalty.

This is customer service at its best! I booked multiple itineraries over the course of five days for a group of 23 visiting DC from California. Sammy was more than accommodating with my frequent adjustments and helped with planning. The drivers were friendly, always showed up on time and early and the vehicles clean and comfortable. Prices were fair and reasonable. Service was amazing and fabulous. I called many times to calm my own nerves over planning this special event and wanting everything to be perfect. They took the time to review all details with me and patiently assured me that all was good to go.
I received a text about an hour before our event that Marco, our driver, was en route — that was much appreciated! Marco was amazing — patient with us as we changed our planned route multiple times. He helped in many ways and was a pleasure to be with all day.
We used the ‘party bus’, but this was a family event of multiple generations (age 8 months to 80 years), so they quieted down the lighting for us, removed the poles, and raised the blinds to let the sunlight in. It was clean and comfortable and perfect for the 18 of us!
It was a perfect day and we all agree that we would use Culdesac again — definitely!

Very prompt with good customer service via email and phone calls. They were very responsive to me while booking and traveling. They were pricey, as it was 130 $ from North Bethesda Marriott to BWI. However, they were prompt, professional, courteous, and the vehicles were pristine and comfortable. They use text messaging to let you know where they are at when picking you up which is very convenient. Overall, a pleased customer.

I was surprised (and a little worried) with their overly reasonable pricing, taking their competitive rates to mean poor service or a dirty car, but that wasn’t the case at all; in fact, my experience was quite the opposite!
In addition to their rates, other plusses included:

Culdesac Chauffeur defines «money well spent»! I just fell out of bed after a fantastic night at a concert and my 1^st thought was «I have to tell people how great this company is!». I was taking my parents to a Garth Brooks concert in Baltimore, because the snow roads were a total mess so we started to worry about getting there from Rockville MD at 7pm on a Friday. I started getting quotes from limo and bus services (we had a group of 8 people going) and was shocked at 1) how long they took to get back to me RUDE and 2) how outrageous prices were. Then I saw the good reviews for Culdesac and sent them a message. They responded within 15 minutes with options, pricing, and details. Info that was actually useful! When I wrote them back with questions they worked with me and were totally professional and kind. They communicate very well. We went with the sprinter mercedes limo which is like a large van converted into a luxury apt, it is GORGEOUS! We could have easily fit 10 – 12 people with a cooler and some bags. We were also impressed with the technology inside that we could play with and how clean the interior was. It looks new. After doing a lot of research it was also totally affordable in comparison to any other means of transportation to get to the concert. Once everyone split the bill we agreed it was worth every penny for the relaxed ride, party on the way/party all the way home, and we all felt totally safe and pampered at the same time! They emailed several times to confirm the details AND I got a call from someone asking exactly where we wanted to be picked up. As a totally anxious person I REALLY appreciated the confirmation (it calmed my nerves). I got a text an hour before they were set to arrive just telling me they were on their way! Derek (our super cute driver) was there EARLY and helped everyone from the front door into the limo and back and forth to my house to get all of our stuff, he was totally patient. He drove the most direct route and got us there in record time. He also pulled up at a perfect location and met us in that same easy to find spot the minute the concert was over. I will be calling them for EVERY event from now on and I suggest you do the same. This is a luxury well worth the money, it made our concert experience magical even in 95 traffic!!! Thank you to Culdesac Chauffeur for exceeding all of our expectations!

We rented a 28-passenger bus for our wedding. The bus was clean and easy to book — the deposit and balance were charged the exact amount and on the dates as described. Our only complaint is that they were to provide bottled water, which they did not, so we were pretty parched for the 3 hour rental, and their customer service didn’t care or offer to make it up. Pretty crappy, considering we spent $ 600 for the service. (We even asked the driver if he brought water and he said «Yeah, for me.»). The driver was otherwise very knowledgeable about locations and best routes to avoid traffic (it was a busy weekend — with Taste of DC, the Million Man March, etc).

I was assisted by Sammy, who was extremely helpful and efficient.
Our driver was Miguel, who was equally so, and seemed to enjoy his job, which was a nice change. He arrived early, and contacted me on my mobile phone.
Our trip was from Dulles to a large downtown hotel, and was seamless, as was the return four days later.
Interestingly, Miguel was also our driver on the return trip, and got us back to Dulles with time to spare.
The cars were clean, and Miguel loaded our bags for us and offered us bottled water.
Instead of run of the mill Lincoln Town cars (nothing wrong with that, other than their age), we were fortunate enough to ride in a BMW 740i and a Lincoln MKT (I think… anyway, it was similar to a Cadillac Escalade, if that helps).
I suspect that their pricing is toward the high side of the scale, but I relied upon Unilocal reviews to choose a service, and couldn’t be more pleased with Cul De Sac. You do get what you pay for.
I intend to use them again, and suggest that you give them a try.
Travel is stressful enough without having to worry about one more thing.

We used this company to take a group of 12 of us from the airport to our housing for a conference in Baltimore. Bryian met us at the airport and was very patient since our flight had been delayed 45 minutes past our scheduled arrival. He met us curbside within 5 minutes of calling to let him know we had claimed all of our bags! The bus was very spacious, clean, and well kept. Bryian was professional, courteous, and took care of our bags when loading them into the back of the bus (we all know how TSA treats our bags, so this was well appreciated). This company went above and beyond our expectations. I would HIGHLY suggesting using Culdesac Chauffeur, so look no more, this company is all you need for transportation in this area!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU!
With prom, graduation, college selections, etc. all going on right now — I really appreciated the great customer support I received from Johnna and Jenn setting up the reservation — as well as their attentiveness with confirmation and notification emails.
The driver arrived a few moments early and all the parents were grateful for a few extra minutes to snap a few photos of the kids inside the limo. The driver was courteous, friendly and patient with the teens. But the best thing of all though is that the driver was happy and smiling; he truly enjoys his job and that was wonderful to experience.

I recently scheduled a pick up service for my CEO flying into Washington, DC from San Diego, CA. For both occasions (arrival and departure from the airport to hotel and vice versa), I scheduled the rides over the phone speaking with their customer service representative, Sammy McGarity.
She was absolutely amazing to work with! She clarified every part of the service, made sure all information was received clearly, and was very patient in making any last minute changes to the pick up times or special instructions for the driver.
Her assistance made the entire process so simple and satisfying. Just from her excellent customer service alone, I will be more than happy to utilize this service again and recommend to our fellow patrons for future bookings.

A group of us was visiting Washington, DC for a hockey road trip.
Two months prior to my trip, I emailed Culdesac, along with 2 other competitors for a price quote. Culdesac not only contacted me the same day, but they were the only ones who provided me with any form of communication, and I’ve yet to hear back from the other 2 companies. That alone catapulted Culdesac to 5 star status in my book!
I had 11 people in my group and was suggested a 14 passenger Mercedes Sprint Van, picking up from IAD to downtown Washington for $ 275, which included tax and gratuity. I believe I spoke to Sammy, who was very helpful and friendly.
Fast forward to February…
The day before our trip, Sammy called me to reconfirm, and sent me our driver’s name and number. A hiccup happened to our trip, and I sent Derek a text to come to the airport earlier than we agreed upon. Culdesac called to verify we needed an earlier pickup, Derek kept me in the loop of his transit time, and he came to the spot we told him we were at. Super professional!
We decided to use Culdesac to take us back to the airport.
Again the day before, I got a call and email reconfirming my pickup at 1:30 pm. We were told that Derek was going to take us back, but unfortunately a hiccup occured where his appointment was going to run over, so Derek texted me that someone else will pick us up, and not to worry. A few minutes after the text, Culdesac called me to say Derek was being replaced by Sam, and they texted me his number.
Sam arrived at 1:15 in a 20 passenger van, just as nice as the Mercedes Sprinter, and even newer! It was also handicapped accessible, which was a good thing to remember if someone was disabled. He was just as courteous and got us to the airport safely and quickly.
I honestly believe this company deserves 5 stars. They were professional, easy to get a hold of via email and phone, and communicated with me from start to finish.
They charged my card after the service was completed, and the tip and tax was included in the fee. I would gladly use them again if I am back in the DC area.

I definitely felt like Pretty Woman in our white Lincoln Town limousine (apart from the turning tricks thing). It was the perfect surprise for the bf’s birthday — he said he felt like Kanye haha.
The most impressive aspect of Culdesac that I experienced was their responsiveness. I first reached out to them via email and received a response within minutes. Every subsequent email was also answered within the hour, even at 8pm on a weekday and on weekends.
Gathering the details for renting a vehicle as well as the booking process was painless and smooth. Sammy is absolutely wonderful and she made booking our limo a breeze. For the Lincoln Town limo, a 4-hour minimum and a down payment is required. Quotes include tip. Depending on your location, I believe rates may fluctuate. I was misquoted initially, and was told later that my Springfield pick-up location was a bit out of range (they are located in MD), and that I would actually be charged almost an additional hour for travel. But Sammy made things work and they honored the initial quote they gave me. This is something to keep in mind if you have drop-off or pick-up locations away from DC.
Our driver arrived early and worked with me to circle around the neighborhood so that the bf would see the limo pull up right when he exited the house. The limo was clean, and stocked with ice, champagne flutes, and whiskey glasses. Temperature was easy to control in the limo and we were able to make it super toasty inside (it was a freezing cold night). A usb type outlet is available to hook up your phone for music (not gonna lie — I downloaded Frank Sinatra for our fancy night). Our driver was sweet enough to take pictures for us and open our door, but besides this, service was not particularly as cordial as I would have hoped in terms of communication. But it was enough for a birthday, and the night went well.
I probably won’t be going all out like this again any time soon, but I will definitely be keeping Culdesac in mind for any other emergency pick-up services in the future. Their swift responsiveness and patience is unparalleled.
