I’ve been to Ronald Cooper a couple times before and he was pretty pleasant. Other than a bad estimate I was given by one of the front desk staff of the cost of fillings(turned out to be hundreds of dollars more — if you’re going to give me an estimate, please keep it to a ballpark of $ 50 or so of the actual cost), I thought the service was pretty good and since it’s close to work, I’d keep coming. This time, however, Cooper was surprisingly unpleasant. I’m not sure if he woke up on the wrong side of bed or something but he was remarkably patronizing and aggressive in talking with me about potential dental services and my hesitation to decide on them on the spot. Very unpleasant chairside manner. It’s not appreciated and this is pushing me to look for a new dentist.

Dr. Cooper is wonderful. I have been for a consultation, a cleaning, and will go for another cleaning soon. His offices, of course, are clean and neat. The hygienist was not crazy rough on my teeth like the last dentist I saw. And, he doesn’t seem to oversell which a lot of dentists do. His chairside manner is great, and his front office staff is kind and helpful too. Bonus: He gave me a recommendation to a great oral surgeon as well.
