Delicious and super convenient. The entire experience was perfect — from ordering to delivery to the meal itself. Highly recommend !

My biggest headache as a working mom is figuring out what to serve for dinner. I love CookNook’s offerings b/​c I trust the ingredients that their home cooks use (vs. the sodium and oil content from take out meals, for ex). The selection (quinoa biryani, anyone?) and the price point are both perfect for my needs, so we use the service at least twice a week. Love it.

The meals I have had are REALLY good! There are a number of different options weekly and you get a home cooked, healthy, ethic meal delivered right to your door — what’s better than that?! If you are a foodie with no time on your hands or are looking for something different other than takeout, try CookNook!

Great idea and solid food! The food came on time and was delivered with a smile. I love supporting local cooks and the service is very convenient. Nothing beats a healthy meal delivered to you. Well done.

This is a really nice idea. The meals I’ve had so far have been uninspiring to be honest — not bad but less creative and tasty than Galley meals, for example. We’ll probably give this another try though.

The last thing I want to do when I get home from work is 1) decide what to eat and then 2) actually cook it. Normally I would just order takeout from one of my go-​to restaurants but I eventually realized (courtesy of my scale) that constant take-​out was not a sustainable option. A friend told me about CookNook so I decided to try it out. I was skeptical at first because other services like Blue Apron only gave me ingredients (and it took forever to cook them) or the prepared fresh food delivery services left me feeling hungry. Anyways, I decided to give it a try and I was amazed! The food was delivered hot and exactly when I expected it and it just tasted… real. Like real food that my mom would have cooked for me. The first meal I had was Katherine’s organic pulled chicken burger with sweet potato mash and brussel sprouts. It just tasted so fresh and flavors were just jumping out at me. I was so full halfway through my meal but it was so good I had to polish it off.
I’ve had several other dishes since then and all have been amazing. The service is pretty accommodating too — they have a subscription service (and you can always skip a week or change meals) and an on-​demand service. There’s usually a good variety of dishes so there’s always something you’ll want to try. On top of all that… there’s a bonus in that the food is actually healthy! I highly recommend giving CookNook a try.

This is just what I have been looking for! There is nothing that I want more at the end of the day than an authentic meal and CookNook does it for me. I tried Sara’s Quinoa Biryani and it is amazing! I grew up with that dish as a kid, but Sara has made it so much healthier. I also love Katherine’s cooking, as all her stuff is organic and healthy.
The service is so convenient– I let them know when to drop off the dinner and I am fed by 8pm. That gives me time to finish off my work, go to the gym and get to bed at a reasonable hour.

My wife and I try to eat healthy meals, but there are limited options with minimal variety. The meals I’ve gotten from CookNook presented a lot of variety, while also being affordable and healthy. It’s especially nice if you know you are not going to have time to cook, but still want to maintain a healthy diet.
