CommUnity on the Hill is a Unity Church in our Nation’s Capital. Our Sunday worship service is from 10−11am. Afterwards, A Course in Miracles reading group and our Master Mind prayer group meet from 11:30 — 12:30. All are welcome to attend our service.

In loving service to Divine Truth, we nurture a welcoming community dedicated to the activity of Spirit. Together, we embrace our Christ Consciousness as beacons of Love, Light and Truth.

History

Established in 1994.

CommUnity on the Hill was founded in 1994 by the late Rev Amalie Frank in Washington DC. Originally located on Capitol Hill in Southeast Washington, we relocated in 2000 to the National Cathedral School on the grounds of the National Cathedral in Northwest Washington and in 2012 moved to the First Congregational United Church of Christ in the heart of the city.

In August 2015, we relocated to the St Luke’s Mission Center, 3655 Calvert St, NW, in Glover Park – just north of Georgetown. We are delighted to be in our cozy neighborhood and welcome all those who are lead to attend our service and church activities.

We are a member of the Association of Unity Churches, headquartered in Kansas City, MO.
