I took in two pants to get dry cleaned and one of the pant legs rehemmed.
It took 3 days to dry clean the pants and they were 7 bucks a piece. While that is more than I was expecting it to cost what really disliked about my experience here was the poor quality of the hemming.
While the pant leg is the same length as it was before there is a single thread hold it together. I’ll be surprised if it stays together more than a couple months.
I also didn’t feel the cleaning was as good as it could have been, but that didn’t factor into my rating. There are somewhere around 7 alternative places to go for cleaning and alterations. The next time I go out for either, I’ll be going somewhere else.
The best part of the experience was the woman that helped me when I picked it up, she was nice and personable, this is contrary to the person who helped me when I dropped it off who was completely distant and uninterested. I nearly (and looking back wish I had) walked out with my clothes to take them somewhere else.

every dry cleaner i’ve ever used has been based on convenience — it’s proximity to my job, class, home, kid’s school, etc — and this one was no exception. they are o-​k. it’s just dry cleaning; i don’t get excited about it. they are supposedly «green,» too. i haven’t used them that much, and probably won’t, b/​c they are overpriced. i can use other cleaners close to other things in my life, for less. there’s also one employee — brian — who i’m convinced is certifiably CRAZY. i don’t like dealing with him at all. other than that, they’re fine for service, but cost a bit more than i’d like to pay on a regular basis.

I really, really, really want to give them 5 stars, but I’ve gone with 3.5 (I round up) because they are quite pricey. They did an amazing job with my comforter, as well as with everything else I brought them. But I can go to Zip’s for literally an eighth of the cost. The last straw was when I used their tailoring service — $ 40 to take in a coat that (as I later recalled) cost me $ 40. Again, no complaints with their work. If I have something of value that I don’t trust to Zip’s I’ll take it there. But for day-​to-​day stuff, it’s just too much of a strain on my budgeted wallet.

I’ve used RIC sporadically over the past 6 months. They’ve cleaned all the major stains I’ve sent on my suits, but not every single stain. Their prices are comparable for dry cleaning, but I don’t use them for regular laundry. The main reason I give them high marks is because of their method of cleaning.
