My husband bought me a necklace here for Christmas, and the chain was too long for me to wear it. We took it back to the store and asked if it would be possible to get a shorter chain(the pendant didn’t come off). They said they would do so, and took the necklace with my name, phone number, and email address, saying they would contact me when it was finished. I never got a call and forgot to follow up for a few months; when I returned, they had no memory of my necklace, but the salesperson took my name, email, and phone promising to have the manager get back to me. Needless to say, she never did. I’ve gone back a few times, but obviously no one ever remembers me or my necklace, so I’m pretty much out a gift that cost my husband a couple hundred dollars. I will never return or give them my business.

Not only does Charm have a variety of jewelry, but they also carry great gifts. I bought my mom and aunt candles for under 20 $ for christmas! I had been waiting on the candles to come in, and the sales girl took down my info and called me as soon as they arrived, which i thought was very helpful. It made my christmas shopping less stressful. They also have great scarves and bags that make great add-on’s if you are putting together a gift set for someone. They are also willing to do personal shopping there if you dont have time to go down to the store… which is nice because i live in potomac!

Love this little shop — so many fun things to find. Prices vary as does the jewelry designs! Something for everyone! Gifts, personal whatever — this place is wonderful. Eleni helped me with an order and she was very personal, kind and of great assistance. I will be back, and asking for her again! Thanks!

Typical obnoxious & snobby Georgetown customer service. If you can get past that, it’s a great place for jewelry — it’s not unique jewelry like other posts say… It’s a house of brands… Meaning you can find the same thing elsewhere.

What a little hidden gem of Georgetown! I stumbled upon this store earlier today and I am so thankful I did. For jewelry lovers like myself, this place literally has it all! I was surprised at how many great quality items they had for such reasonable prices and they had incredible costume jewelry as well. It has something for everyone. The store itself is gorgeous and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Every girl deserves a good quality piece of jewelry that’s not going the break the bank … this store is your place! I know it sounds bizarre but I also loved the little jewelry bag they put my purchases in. It wasn’t put in tissue paper and a paper bag like most other places … they gave me a cute little drawstring bag I can reuse again. REALLY impressed by this store, LOVE my purchases and I will DEFINITELY be going back again ~

I have purchased many pieces of jewelry from Charm over the years. Unfortunately, my patience has waned so thin with the service and ownership of the store that I doubt I will be returning. This is unfortunate, because they do have some pretty and unique pieces that are fairly priced. Most of the girls who work there are young and nice enough, but they don’t seem particularly knowledgeable about the jewelry or pricing. I had one particular awful experience with a Jennifer Zeuner defective necklace I purchased from the store. The girl who sold it to me assured that it was«Rose Gold» and that it was durable. Fast forward to 6 months later and the chain has broken four times in different places. The first three times it broke, they agreed to fix it despite it being beyond the 30 day return period. That was nice, except this was an overly long process and took multiple weeks to fix the piece, with minimal communication from their end. I had to leave multiple messages just to get a vague and unhelpful time estimate on when to expect the piece would be fixed. This was frustrating because it was a relatively quick and easy fix that wouldn’t take a jeweler more than a few minutes. The last time I was in the store, when the necklace had broken for either the third or fourth time, the owner simply refused to fix it. I still do not understand why, but something about them fixing it three times already and how now they«dont know» how I’m handling it and why it’s breaking. Despite my assurances that I had handled it with the utmost care, her tone and words were extremely accusatory that I was mishandling the piece, and she refused to acknowledge the piece’s defectiveness. Because Charm refused to fix it or provide any sort of compensation(other than 30% of another piece in the store), I had to go next door to Market Street Diamonds to have the necklace fixed myself. After a few days, Dino over at Market Street Diamonds informed me that after attempting to fix the chain, it immediately broke in another place, and that the necklace was indeed defective. Dino offered to replace the chain at a low cost because he could sense my deep frustration, even though they were completely blameless in the matter. In sum, I recommend Market Street Diamonds! I will certainly be thinking twice before returning to Charm again after this customer service disaster that had me fuming for days.

I agree with the reviewers that find the customer service to be obnoxious. Very condescending. Not a pleasant experience… at all.

I really like the direction Charm is heading in. In the past they only carried large statement pieces that were beautiful, but expensive and not for everyday. I went back recently and found a much better mix of statement and everyday. I found just what I was looking for: a beautiful gold chain necklace that will be a staple!

Gorgeous store and lots of fun inventory, but the service was terrible! I went in to ask about custom designing a ring and the owner was incredibly obnoxious, like she couldn’t be bothered to give me the time of day to answer my questions. I ended up going to The Nugget in Alexandria and got EXACTLY what I was looking for! Perhaps when the owner learns to value customers I’ll go back.

Charm Georgetown is an awesome place to find the best accessories for a good price. Everything is in style and on the bigger side — though you can definitely find something here for all tastes. Ms. Mason, the owner, definitely knows her stuff and is passionate about her store!
