History

Established in 2014.

In 1857, Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser began presenting an evening of sophisticated sleight of hand in the Salon of his Viennese home for an elite audience. Since then, other proponents of magic derived from skill, manipulation and prestidigitation have emulated Hofzinser with shows performed extremely close to the small audience, in an elegant setting. \

Professional magicians Brian Curry and Mark Phillips have both enjoyed successful careers in their unusual profession. For ten years, they produced and performed with «The Comedy & Magic Society,» a more traditional variety show hosted by The Arts Barn in Gaithersburg. With ‘Catch Me’, they battle on stage for the title ‘Washington DC’s Favorite Magician’ with the winner to be chosen by the audience!
