History

Established in 2010.

Based in the DC Metro area, Mrs. Candace Claiborn, transitioned from the corporate world to become a certified MUA, working with both MAC Cosmetics and Laura Mercier, while training with other industry professionals, and pursuing her passion for multiplying character and confidence in the lives of women!

To combat the challenges of navigating the world of makeup, C Squared Artistry was created to bring relief to women who enjoy the results of makeup, but simply may not have the time or skills to do it themselves.

As a luxury on-​site makeup service provider, C Squared Artistry is able to provide custom makeup looks unique to each woman’s preference, style, and skin care concerns as she prepares for that special ocassion!

And for those who struggle with doing their own makeup and are interested in learning the basic skills to take their look to the next level, booking a private makeup lesson is the perfect solution.

Business Owner

Wife, Author, Confidence Coach and Professional Makeup Artist, Mrs. Candace Claiborn, is the co-​founder, along with her husband Thomas Claiborn, of the D.C. based brand, C Squared Artistry.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, and the daughter of Jamaican immagrants, Candace attended The George Washington Unviersity to study business and communication.

It was not long after beginning a career in corporate America, that the GW grad, decided to pursue her interest in professional makup artistry. Candace has had the privilege of studying under Emmy Award winning artist Suzanne Patterson of Creative Artistry & FX, as well as working with MAC Cosmetics, Laura Mercier.

Candace’s charasmatic and electrifying personality brings a sense of refreshing to each of her clients that leaves them satisfied not only with their makeup look, but also their C Squared experience.
