Specialties
Bright Start Child Care has been offering families throughout Washington, DC, with the highest quality bilingual Spanish early learning child care and education program since 2002. What began as a vision of providing an environment of love and care in the community is now an educational playground for your child’s intellectual, creative, social and physical growth.
History
Established in 2002.
Started 2002 as a home based Childcare business, and flourished into an early care and learning center, in 2009, where we’ve expanded our NAC for excellence. We are nationally accredited through the Association for Early care and Learning Leaders. We serve infants 6 weeks to 12 years old school age children. We’ve nurtured and taught children from our diverse community, exposing them to the joys of childhood while processing knowledge for a life long of learning. In 2013, Bright Start received a grant to provide free Preschool for 3 – 5 years old District residents. The focus of the Preschool program is STEM in PreK. That aspect of the program is housed at 5413 16th Street, two blocks from the main site.
