History

Established in 1999.

the concept of autoreverse started around 1997 but I was still involved with graphic design and was reluctant to embrace the web. in 1999 I was working in a service bureau but I couldn’t see it as a career, so I decided to launch my own company doing web design. a lot of businesses were starting to go online so I saw that there was a good opportunity.

I come from a background of liberal arts — I have a bachelor’s degree in english, but I have always been artisitically minded. I have done traditional arts, photography but my love for technology was predisposing me for computer graphics. after a stint at a computer school, I started my graphic design business in 1996 in columbus, ohio. I wasn’t interested in branching out into web design though I was following closely the evolution of the web. in 1999 after moving to washington, dc and doing some jobs in photography and graphic design, I decided to launch my own web design company doing freelance web design.
