APVI Express

So I placed an order for an expedited passport, and was willing and ready to shell out almost $ 450 total for everything. However, when I spoke to the representative, whose name is Johnny, he told me that he wanted to warn me that the State has been taking longer than expected lately to release the passports in a timely manner, and that he could not guarantee I’d receive my passport in time. (I paid for 24 hour turnaround time, and he said there’s a chance it could take 2 – 3 business days, which was cutting it too close to my travel date).
I really appreciate his honesty. He took the time to explain the whole process to me, and why there might be a delay. This guy has a conscience, and rather than take my money and promise me something he knew he might not be able to fulfill— he was honest with me and suggested I go a different route. The world sucks now, and there are so many mean-​spirited people… it was so refreshing to speak to someone that actually cared enough to save me a lot of money and hassle. Thank you Johnny!

Timely turnaround, great customer service and friendly follow-​up. I highly recommend APVI Express. They worked with me to insure a timely and expedited renewal of my passport for an unexpected family trip. We were also able to get our visas within 2 days. The staff is efficient, knowledgeable and very helpful. They walked me through the entire process and ensured there were no mistakes on our applications. Excellent service, and I was able to relax and just enjoy my travel!

My Passport arrived on time and I even received a nice plastic protective cover with it :-). My passport specialist was super patient with me and made sure I do what I’m supposed to. I have just received my passport and I’m very happy with your service. I was extremely nervous just 20 minutes ago but I now that I have received my passport (almost hugged the FedEx delivery man) I literarily BELIEVE I CAN FLY! I had called at least 4 companies advertising 24hour service and they all tried to explain why sending my documents on Thursday and receiving my passport next Tuesday really is a 24h service! APVI Express received my documents on Friday and shipped my passport on that same day for today’s delivery, this is what 24H means. Thanks again APVI and I will definitely use your services again!

I can see that the reviews for APVI are either great or terrible. Here is another 5 Star review. We needed a Saudi visa on very short notice. Karim was professional and the right thing happened in a very short amount of time. Yes, you have to fill out the forms yourself (duh) and yes you pay an upcharge for services, but it’s well worth it. Are they a 2 person company? Maybe they are, but that should not matter.
I would use APVI again.

I needed to renew my passport, and needed it done in a fast and timely manner, AVPI really helped me with the whole process! They are very, very fast and reliable I got my passport renewed in time and was able to fly out of the country, thank you AVPI!!!

Stay away, watch your money, it’s a 2 people company. … they charge my card, they can’t provide the service and refuse to give me a refund, 100 precent rip off, rood people scream about me over the phone and threat to share my info on line… really ??? Some one need to say those people we leave in America… and there are laws here, they can’t charge me for a service they can’t provide and more then that I have the right for a refund and compensation if they did not provide a thing, pls watch your money and stay away, just go to the post office or any other trustful place

We had a terrific experience with this service. We were obtaining a passport for a child and the situation was complicated. Suffice it to say that there were numerous factors such as court orders and name discrepancy problems (the child’s name wasn’t the same on his birth certificate as it was going to be on his passport since it had been changed legally since his birth). Even with all of this, this service was very prompt, sending us detailed directions for what was needed. Of course we still had to assemble all the necessary paperwork (court orders, etc) and bring it to the passport reviewing service. So they do their part, and you of course definitely have to do yours. But once we had everything together, took it to the passport reviewer and it was approved and given back to us in a sealed envelope, we returned it in the FEdEx overnight envelope they sent us. We had paid for the 5 – 9 day service and they were Even faster than promised! They maintained contact at all times and gave us tracking numbers so we knew the status the whole time. They are definitely worth it and if I had to do it over we would most definitely use them again. We highly recommend if you or someone you love needs a passport quickly.

These guys screwed me over so badly. They missed the deadline to submit my paperwork and couldn’t get my passport back to me in time to make my trip. While they were apologetic, when I called them to get an update on my purchase and they told me they hadn’t submitted it yet, they weren’t helpful; for only $ 400 they would submit my paperwork the following day and then I could drive the 4 hours to DC to pick it up myself! Had I done that in the first place and not wasted so much time on APVI, the situation would be much less dire.
Their suggestion was that I reschedule my trip. Thanks APVI. GFY.

I am very happy with my experience with APVI.
It’s nerve-​wracking to give over your passport.
They contacted me consistently throughout the process of adding more pages to my passport, to give me updates on the status.
I ordered 3 – 4 business day service, sent out my passport on Thursday at 10 AM and got it back on Tuesday at 9 am.
I will definitely use their services again.

Quick to take your money. They don’t take all of your details correctly. I had to have my 1 year passport replaced with a 10 year passport and after making me complete all the paperwork they called and told me that they don’t offer that specific service.
They did not even give me a full refund, instead deducted $ 100.

My company planned a last minute business trip for me to go to South Korea, and not having a passport, I had to acquire one within 5 days. I thought about trying to expedite the process with the state department, but I didn’t have a full day to stand in line. I found APVI through google and decided to try this as a last minute solution. There was one issue with the application, but it was the fault of the acceptance agent at the US Post Office. APVI took the necessary steps to make sure that the issue wouldn’t hinder my travel plans, and the customer service was great. I also really liked their automated email tracking which kept me informed of each step as it was completed. Thank you APVI!

I used this service recently to order a passport when I realized I could not find mine only a week before I had to leave. I was worried about it being a scam, but I had a very pleasant experience with the company. I’ll summarize.
Pros:
Fast service. They offer as fast as 24 hours, which is the service I used (although read below for a warning on this)
Very easy to contact. I called them at least a dozen times to check on the process and see how the passport was coming along. You should definitely call them before giving them any money just to make sure they can process your order when you need it
Takes care of everything for you. You just send them the materials, they go to the state department and apply for the passport, they send it back to you. Painless.
They have a clear list (after you pay them) of what you need to send in and how to do it. It’s very easy to follow the steps they list out.
Cons:
It’s expensive. You pay them a fee on top of what you pay the state department. If you have time, you can start filling out the form and they may email you a discount code, but the expedited services are expensive and there’s really no way around it. However, if you leave it to the last minute or lose your passport, that’s just how it is.
They don’t tell you what you need to prepare as far as documents go until you pay them. I had looked at other services and the state department website and had an idea of what I would need, but you go in pretty blind until you pay them, after which they are very helpful.
Timing. READ THIS. If you choose the rush order you MUST account for the time it will take to mail the materials to their office and the time it will take to mail them back. They need to receive your package from fedex by 8:30 AM or they will process it the next day, which can set you back a day in your plans. Then you need to wait for them to fedex it to you, so depending on the timing you could be looking at 3 – 4 days for the 24 hour service, which is the fastest they offer. Make sure you have enough cushion time. I live in DC and was able to deliver my package to their office, but it was still three days worth of time for the 24 hour service for me to give them my materials and get them back. I was sure to call them ahead of time and make sure they could process the order before my travel date, so if you’re unsure I really recommend contacting them first.
Related, you need to be aware that not only will you have to prepare the materials, but also get them packaged by a passport acceptance agent, which usually entails making an appointment at a usps office. Be prepared to spend some time contacting the office (s) in your area and making an appointment. Some are walk in, but you may need to wait around for a couple hours at these locations. Getting my application materials together meant I had to take a day off of work.
Overall: Good service, got the job done when I needed it. Very clear and willing to keep in contact with me. But be very sure they can do what you need before you give them $ 100-​$ 400 and make sure you have the time to dedicate to putting the application together. They came through for me and hopefully your process will be as smooth as mine was.

I was a bit hesitant to work with an agency, but it worked out great, given the expense of last minute travel to a Department of State Passport Agency. APVI was very helpful in helping me gather the materials together I needed. Don’t think that this service will be doing all the work for you… you need to take the time to gather all the forms and prepare your documents, photo, check payment, etc., and then they send you a FedEx label to mail to APVI. Also, you should know up front that you will also be paying an expedited fee to the Department of State on top of what you pay to APVI.
Interestingly enough, although APVI’s address is in D.C., my materials were all sent to Chicago, which is okay by me, if that’s what’s easiest for them.
My passport arrived exactly on the day APVI said it would, it was well worth the expense.
I did have a hard time scheduling a consultation with them on the first day, their staff keeps very busy and it might be hard getting in touch with them.
APVI is friendly and very professional, and they saved me a lot of time and money.

I would have missed my family’s reunion set in Ireland this year if I had not found APVI Express. They processed my passport renewal with in a week. That solved my problem of needing to wait 2 – 3 weeks for my renewal passport. I was able to attend another wonderful family reunion and next year we plan on Paris for our family gathering.

I needed a passport within the week and APVI delivered. I was very nervous and panic stricken, the wonderful staff at APVI was very patient and reassuring. They explained everything in detail and calmed me down. I highly recommend!
