The worst customer service experience in my life!!! I ordered two shrimp salads, add chicken. The person who placed my order was very friendly and polite. I paid for my food and he gave me my receipt. I noticed he did not add the chicken. I requested to add chicken and I will pay the difference. The Manager/owner/I dont know who she was stated that he already placed my order and the transaction was complete. I then told her that I didn’t want the food if I can’t get it the way I want it. I politely asked them not to make the food and to refund my debit card. She stated there was no refunds and I have to get it the way the order was placed. I explained to her that I can’t see what he is typing in the computer but ink is what I told him. She«shooed» me away with her hand as if she was ignoring me. The guy admitted he was at fault. I then again asked her for a refund and she stated she’s not putting chicken on my salad nor was I getting a refund. After the back and forth… I realized I was eating my time. I WILLNEVERPATRONIZEDTHISPLACEEVERAGAIN!!! To say the less.

First let me say DONOTSPENDYOURMONEYHERE! This place is extremely disrespectful of customers. It’s located in a rough area however you still don’t treat your customers like they’re nothing. They are nice until u have a issue. Then they turn into raging fools. I ordered my food and I checked the okra I ordered it wasn’t the kind they normally serve. I asked if I could exchange it for something else. she said no and starting point at the sign that read no refunds no exchange. So ur telling me if u give me a sorry product I’m just suppose to take it, absolutely not. When I told her I didn’t think that was fair she then called the police. That’s right the police. All over me wanting to exchange my food. I feel that was excessive. I left feeling angry, hurt, disappointed and embarrassed. The kicker is when my boyfriend said his chicken was super dry. Just imagine if I wanted fresh chicken. Bottom line don’t go to this Americas Best it’s the worst, the worst experience I have ever had.

Used to be my favorite spot but I went there today and the food was HORRIBLE! They gave me a drink with no ice they didn’t have anything to take ketchup and hot sauce only paper containers with no lids. The fish was like rubber and unchewable. I loved this spot but I won’t go back again. Also the cashiers suck big time! This is now the WORST America’s Best wings I been to. So sad…

Good food but very bad service. Need English speaking cashiers. This is the 2nd time they messed my order up.

BADBADBAD Customer service. Not worth the aggravation for the product. Be careful of Veronica(the manager). She will refuse to change your order.(even if they got it wrong. She will refuse to give you a refund. She will then refuse to give you the product you do not wish to have. And then she will call their security on you.

The lemon pepper wings here are good and their fries were crispy just how I like it. I also had a grilled chicken wrap from here and it was delicious. It was packed with food and pretty much kept me full for all of the day. Despite the other reviews about the staff my experience with them was not bad at all. Usually there is an asian lady who is there and she is always nice and smiling or either they may have a younger girl/girls working the register. Now I do have to warn you about the location, it is a hood spot and sits right in front of the bus stop, so there is usually A LOT of people hanging out in front of the place, but if that intimidates you there are always cops posted as well. Hope this review helps.

For some strange reason this is the best one on this side of town! They even have mumbo sauce. The location will throw you off but don’t let that stop you from getting good wings from them though. Just call the order in that way you can run in and pick it up. You don’t have to deal with the locals.

Poor customer service, mediocre food, terrible environment. But what do you expect from a Benning Road establishment?

The food is decent, but the crowd(including staff) can be sketchy! I have visited 3 times and 2 out of 3 times I have witnessed an altercation, one was pretty serious. I prefer wings minus the drama.

When they first opened they were on point but, since they’ve dropped off. The last time there I order wings. Got home salivating for the wings and, BOOM! The wings had set under a heat lamp it appeared all day then covered with sauce. I call to complain and the lady said the manage was not available and questioned what was the call was in reference to, I asked for the manager name at that point John got on the phone I explained my dilemma and he offed me a replacement meal. I told him it’s not about the free meal but, more about the quality of the food. Haven’t been back since.

I’m addicted! So many different flavors to choose from and the potato wedges are so good! The teriyaki wings, mild, honey lemon and lemon pepper wings are a few of my favorites plus Thai chilli. Always hot and fresh! Love this place! Plus it’s new and always clean unlike any other carry out on benning road. I’m from DC and I’ve never eaten from any place in hechinger mall but americas best is everything!

I had the lemon hot and Old Bay wings with fries and a drink. The wings were a good size and the price was very reasonable! Only carry out. I look forward to trying some other flavors(although that old bay was delicious), I’m skipping on the fries next time. The fries were very plains and oily.

This place is so good! My partner and I were on our way to Wing Zone in District Heights when we passed this place. Like Kevin M., we figured it was going to be some greasy hole in the wall with bullet-proof glass. But I decided to Unilocal it and Kevin’s review made us turn around and give it a try. SO glad we did! The staff was helpful and friendly, the restaurant was bright and clean and there was no bullet-proof glass! I ordered the lemon pepper wings(crispy and all flats) and LOVED them! My partner got the hot wings, which she said were good but a tad too salty and spicy. We both agreed that I’d made the better choice. If they had seating and a bar, it would be GOLDEN! LOL I have been looking for a go-to wing place for months. Guess what? I FOUNDIT! Wooohoooo!

I thought it was going to be another hood hangout off of Benning Road, however I was quite surprised at how this little fast food eatery now has some of the best food in a half mile radius! Their selection of wing sauce is impressive and they were actually smart in hiring people form the community, which actually does help with customer relations. America’s Best Wings seems to be the best franchise to get into these days, as two additional restaurants have popped up(one off Alabama and Good Hope Road SE and the other off Malboro Pike and Southern Ave) in the last two months. The food is good and the service isn’t too bad either. I wish they delivered!
