Ambassador Restaurant & Bar

I’ve dined here twice, and have gotten extremely full and slipped into a food coma on both occasions. I like Eritrean food… alot. I just ordered the tibsi to keep it simple, since I didn’t want to face disappointment from the chef. It was nice and flavorful, but not as spicy as I have had before. Actually, I prefer to eat it without too much berbere (chili powder) because I think it can overpower the other seasonings. The atmosphere is very casual and laid-​back. You can just sit at a corner table and read a book, study… or watch a soccer/​football game on the TV; because, there are alot of men that frequent the place, and that’s what they watch. The customer service is what earned Ambassador an extra star. The owners are very friendly and that says alot, in my opinion. I believe they have a full bar, too. I’d go back if I’m around 9^th & U.
