AG Transportation and Limousine Service

I have used AG twice so far for a downtown Silver Spring pickup to Dulles round trip. Both times the drivers were prompt and on time (actually ahead of time). The rides were comfortable and where in clean late model Lincoln Town Cars. I will continue to use AG as my airport transportation provider.

I took this service from NW DC to Dulles. I had a very early flight so my biggest concern was that the driver wouldn’t show (trust me it’s happened to me before with other car services) but I had no trouble whatsoever. The driver arrived early in a very nice looking sedan, got me to the airport on time and was very professional. It also doesn’t hurt that the rates are quite reasonable compared to many of the taxis /​car services out there.

I found this place on the web and the price was comparable to the Super Shuttle (a few bucks more) for BWI to Foggy Bottom. When I called them the man was difficult to understand in what I assume was a Middle Eastern accent. He was very nice though and he was clear about arrangements. He said they would monitor our flight and be at the airport when we arrived; which unfortunately they weren’t. We had to call and waited 20 minutes. The driver was in traffic, when they called they should have informed us, instead of telling us he was a few minutes away — which clearly he wasn’t.
Pros:
1. Price 40 — 50% less than others I found (worth the 20 mins.)
2. Driver was friendly enough and with a bit of prodding pointed out things of interest to us
3. Traffic was clearly backed up and he asked us before taking an alternate route to the highway
4. I appreciate the fact you did not need to provide them your credit card number either over the web or over the phone — they would take your credit card info that day — I chose to pay cash, I don’t like giving anyone my credit card info
5. Car was very nice, clean, with a workspace in the back
Cons:
1. Reservations was difficult to understand
2. They should have been more honest about driver being stuck in traffic
3. It did not seem like an actual professional «reservation center»
Overall:
I would recommend, not much to lose since there is no deposit and they don’t have your credit card info.
Alternatively: MARC train from Union Station in D.C., which I took D.C. to BWI was $ 6 — That is what I am going to do from now on!
