I went online to look up with phone number of my dentist office and was surprised to read that the customer service was declining… however now I can see why! I spoke with Janet, the receptionist, who was incredibly rude and condescending. This practice is a husband and wife team and when she asked who my dentist was I let her know I had been seen by both. She then asked me which one I saw first.(I’ve been a patient for 12 years and have no idea who I saw first as I’ve seen both over the years) I cheerfully repeated that I have seen both Drs. and that it didn’t matter who I saw I was looking for an appointment for a cleaning in the next couple of weeks. She then laughed and very snarkily asked«How do you not know who you saw first?» I was completely taken aback by her tone and asked why it mattered. She then went on to say that she was trying to determine my dentist(I get that, really I do, but lose the attitude!) I don’t even recall the next questions but as she became increasingly rude I finally asked for her name(Hi, Janet!) and let her know that I would find a new dentist. I’m actually appalled that someone working in a predominantly customer service role would be so rude — without reason! There are a lot of good dentists out there and this practice needs a refresher on customer service or I can’t image it will be around much longer.

I have had two appointments and I saw Mahvassh Abreu. Unlike my last dentist who told me I suddenly needed multiple crowns and root canals, they told me I have 2 cavities requiring fillings. As such, I felt they were very honest compared to my last dentist who clearly was trying to make money. I was in and out quickly and the staff and Doctors were very nice. I had a cavity filled on my second visit and it was hands down the most gentle of my life. I started dozing off during it and zero soreness after. So far so good!
