I emailed this company for a quote for a small project, and in the email stated exactly what I was looking for. I got a return email with a quote for something I didn’t ask for. In fact, in my original email, I specifically mentioned what I was not looking for as well. And yet, that’s what the quote was for. Then I asked again nicely for a quote for what I actually wanted, and instead of getting a quote, I got another email basically saying, no, that’s not what you want. I understood the point she was trying to make (what I was asking for would be flimsy if not mounted, but I was ok with it being flimsy). I mentioned that in my next email and asked again for a quote. Then in the next email, basically the same thing. I literally asked for a quote in five different emails for what I wanted and never got an answer. I then called the company and spoke with the person I was emailing with and she said no problem, I’ll email you a quote for that… nothing. I waited for hours. I sent a follow up email asking for the quote… nothing. I called again and she said oh, sorry I got sidetracked, I will send you the quote for that now… NOTHING.
Truly unbelievable customer service… if you don’t want to do the project, just tell me you aren’t able to do the project. Don’t keep me hanging all day long waiting for your responses for a quote/​It’s been 5 hours now and I could have had this done somewhere else already. Terrible.

I’ve had overall very nice experience with them.
I needed to print 2 non-​standard, panoramic type pictures (9″*18″), and they did their work very quickly.
Negative side: it wasn’t too cheap. Let’s say, it was more than I had expected.
Also, they have 2 offices: 1) where they receive and return orders and 2) the printing office, which is in the next building. The front desk person could not give me the estimate of how much it would cost me, so I needed to go to the printing office in another building and speak with their technical staff personally. Which was, on the other hand, better, because I was able to explain what exactly I needed.
Other than that, the staff was friendly, work was done very quickly and the quality of the prints is fine.

These guys are great. I go there from small jobs which are not worth their time but are very nice about it and their prices are more than fair:)

Terrible customer service, rude a arrogant. I wasted 10 minutes getting passed around only to get attitude.

Excellent customer service and they did a GREAT job on my project for work. This place is huge, and very accommodating to your needs. Definitely recommend for anyone in the Dupont area and beyond.

I went to ABC Imaging to print a project I had been working on for months. So I was looking for a place that would treat my work with care and that’s what I got.
They were professional, helpful and thorough. I worked with Rick. He even called me with questions about what I wanted after I had left the shop. When I got the first proof, the only thing that was off was that some text was too close to the binding. Which was my fault. I expected to have to go home, make the change, return with the corrected file, etc. But Rick opened my original file back up and made the correction for me. The finish product looked great. It was awesome to finally it in my hand.
I expected that the process of printing the document would be excruciating. But it was very easy at ABC. I would recommend it if you’re looking for a place with knowledgeable people and excellent customer service.

First things first — I think the name of the place is actually ABC Imaging (not Imagin).
I couldn’t find them listed online when I needed a print job — which is unfortunate, because they’re pretty great and conveniently located near the dupont circle metro (south exit).
I was walking by (by which I mean I was booking it down the street, of course) on my way to kinkos and decided to stop in. I had a teeny tiny job, 13 pages or so, and they look more like a big print job kind of place. However, the guy I talked to was totally nice about it, spoke English, and had clearly been to college. He took my flash drive and printed the stuff out for a whopping 4 cents a page on nice paper and made sure that everything came out correctly.
Oh wait. How funny. That’s not ‘whopping’ at all, is it? Most other places (ahem…kinkos…cough cough) charge at least 10 cents if not more. It adds up. Try this place out.
