A B C Limo Service

If I could give no stars, I would. After trying twice to reserve a limo for a bachelorette party, I received a confirmation email saying my reservation was accepted and a confirmation number. Only to be followed by a phone call saying my reservation was NOT accepted because they require a 6 hour minimum reservation. I previously spoke to a representative who told me it was 4 hours, so that’s the amount of time I reserved for. Nowhere on the website does it say ANYTHING about a minimum number of hours for a reservation, and no one at the company can decide how many hours the mystery minimum actually is. I now have what appears to be a useless confirmation number and acceptance email, so BEWARE if you make a reservation with this company — apparently it’s subject to interpretation.

Originally thought this was a great service. Got emails that the driver had shown up at 3:45 for a 4:45 pickup, AFTER my son contacted them at 1:00 and told them that his bus was running late. My son then contacted them at 3:45 after we got the email and told them that his bus would not be there until 5:45. This was the information he got from the bus driver. Granted the bus arrived at 6:30 and I agree that there should have been a charge for that, but they charged me 95% more than what they quoted, without telling my son when he called numerous times that the new rate would be double the original rate. Charged me $ 70 for one hour of wait time. Will not use them again and will be appealing with my credit card company.

On a moments notice, on the coldest night in decades, ABC Limos in DC (703) area code, so N. Va, met my sons VERY late flight into Reagan National Airport at 2 AM and delivered them safely to their apartment.
They had been traveling from Shanghai thru Detroit… with delays of 3 hours… hadn’t eaten in 10 hrs. ABC driver at Baggage Pickup was very welcome sight!
Very reliable… courteous …AND CAME OUT WORST NIGHT OF YEAR WITH ONE HOUR NOTICE!
High marks from a grateful Mom who is many miles away…

Everything was good until we got the bill. Reserved a private car for 5 hours. We went an hour over, but they said it wasn’t a big deal. Gave the driver an extra $ 20 for tip for the extra hour.
Received the bill and they charged us for 2 additional hours plus gratuity for those 2 hours. Still trying to get my money back, but the next complaint will be to my credit card company.

I use ABC Limo for my boss whenever he travels to DC. I feel their rates are reasonable and their service has been reliable. I can call them the day before and they are always available. I can call to make changes after changes, even at the last minute and they are always very accommodating.

I guess people only review limo companies when they have a bad experience. If that’s the case, 3 out of… ain’t bad.
I have used these guys 4 times to go from DC to north of Baltimore without a hitch. They charge what they say they will charge, and they showed up on time. As a matter of fact, twice I requested last minute service and they were at my door step.
I did not give them 5 stars only because I haven’t used their service to the fullest. I expect to in the next few weeks and will update accordingly.

Had a group of friends take use this limo company to tour 3 wineries in Northern Virginia. We were delayed after the first winery due to the driver being asleep! We had to walk about half a mile away from the winery to find him. From there on we were further delayed by their inability to follow the schedule. When we returned at 7:20 pm (we rented it for 8 hours at 11am, but they were late) we were told we were within the 8 hour limit. However they charged us an extra $ 100. We called them to resolve it, but they refused, so now we reported them to Visa.
I would never use this company, nor recommend them due to their complete unprofessionalism.

This is the worse limo service I have ever used. First they tried to charge me an hour over our time even though we were done right on time. In the process they charged my credit card 3 times, which was drawn out of my account and took a week of calling to get back.
Also the drive had a rather heavy foot and every time we would hit a stop sign or there was a start from a red light we were jerked back into our seats.
Overall a very very bad experience.
