Thrifty Rent A Car

I’m a Blue Chip Thrifty member.
This car I got from thrifty on this trip had a faulty battery and didn’t start after I had the car for a couple of weeks. I called thrifty that morning and they told me they would charge me to send someone out to jump the car!!! I told them it’s their car and it’s their responsibility. They said that if I didn’t to want to pay that I should figure out the issue on my own or use my AAA road side assistance.
I was shocked.
I ended up using one of my 4 triple AAA road side assistance things on this. AAA ran a diagnostic on the battery and said it was definitely a faulty battery and Thrifty should have taken care of this without question. I had to call Thrifty back and convince them of what AAA said as well as send them a copy of the battery diagnostic print out. What a nightmare.
When I returned the car, the manager at thrifty told me he’d reduce the total a little bit, but when I looked at the receipt it was still there.
Don’t rent from here!
