History

Established in 1905.

People’s Moving & Storage is a local and family owned business located in Warwick, Rhode Island. It is owned & operated by Marie Romano. We have a long history starting out in the early 1900’s as People’s Storage Warehouse in Providence, RI and later evolving into People’s Moving & Storage relocating its facility to the well known center of Historic Apponaug in Warwick, RI.

In 2005, we celebrated 100 years of business. It was a year-​long celebration for our Company for many reasons. We recently relocated from our well known site to a new climate controlled storage warehouse in Warwick and now have dispatch locations throughout RI and MA.

In addition, we have a new fleet of trucks. These trucks are inspected daily by our trained drivers. Each truck is equipped with the latest equipment to ensure safety for our employees and your belongings.
