Prompt service and excellent repair, but cost was rediculous. Won’t quote till they get there, but has a book with set prices. Clogged kitchen drain-​$ 360. Had to move p-​trap pipe so he could more easily access pipe-​$ 135. $ 460 to clear a clogged pipe from too much down the disposal. Luckily took the $ 40 coupon from their website.

Had a very good experience with them. Had a leak from one of my main pipes making showers impossible until it was fixed. They came on a Sunday morning and fixed it, no problem. Our service guy’s name was Pedro. He was very respectful and showed us exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it. We signed up for a year membership and although we hope we never have to use it, we feel confident that if we do, the problem will be fixed. Thanks guys.

We have had Mr. Rooter come to our house at least twice during the past year. The furnace wasn’t working properly. Both times they were able to fix the problem the same day. I would recommend this company.
I am surprised at the bad reviews they have received. They are always there in a reasonable period of time 24 hours a day.

My 86 year old father had a pipe break in the recent cold snap. The two major companies couldn’t respond for «1 day or two we are very busy». Ed was there in 15 mins, shut off the water and reassured my father. The pipe was repaired the next day! We would absolutely use them again and recommend to our friends.

I was given a time frame and the lady in the office called me to let me know my service person was on there way. When Jared arrived he was courteous and even covered his boots. He walked me through everything he was going to do and gave me what options I had to fix the heat. I will be using them again for all my plumbing and heat issues. I like the fact that he gave me options. Jared was great!

These jerks charged us twice to ‘clear’ our homes main sewer line and when it backed up again within a week they stated the line was irrepairable.
They actually told us we could not use it at all! Even went so far as to send us a $ 30k proposal to replace it! Thankfully another drain service cleared the clog — did u catch that? It was just a clog! And we have had NO problems since. The whole scenario was a lie. These people are NOT trustworthy at all — do yourself and your wallet a favor and look elsewhere for drain service AFTER you contact your city sewer department about the problem first. Trust me you will be glad u did.

I am absolutely livid.
Before my home was purchased the seller was required to fix a leaking toilet that was discovered during the home inspection and he chose your business to come evaluate and fix the problem. The issue was supposedly resolved until my downstairs neighbor brought it to my attention that he had been dealing with a leak for quite awhile and he believed it was coming right from that bathroom with the toilet that SHOULD have been fixed.
I had my partner dig up the invoice that was left for us and after reading through the description of repairs I was upset to find that your associate only repaired a fill valve. There was NOTHING done to repair the leaks that were noted in the home inspection and you allowed the seller to «opt out» OF ACTUALLY FIXING PROBLEM. The leak was never repaired, it was only masked by sloppily applying some caulking around the base of the toilet, effectively directing the water down into the apartment below and seriously damaging my sub flooring.
How hard would it have been to actually lift the toilet up and replace the wax ring and the flange as you should have done? I was floored when I finally pulled the toilet up to find that not only was the wax ring nearly disintegrated but the flange was so far gone it crumbled in my hands as I pulled chunks of it away from the sewer pipe.
So, you completely ignored the most obvious reason for a leaking toilet: replacing the wax ring and the flange. Now I need to replace a section of my sub flooring because your rubes couldn’t even remember back to Plumbing 101 in your trade school to locate the obvious issue.
There’s a photo of what I found after lifting the toilet and stuffing a rag into the pipe. That’s why the toilet was leaking. Not some stupid fill valve. Most of the entire God damn flange was corroded and there was basically no wax ring. And you let the seller get away with it.

I called Mr Rooter (Warwick, RI) to repair a gas furnace that was not working. They told me that I would have to replace the blower motor and the furnace board (for a high price). They also said that I might consider a new furnace. Another company came out that afternoon and did a very thorough job troubleshooting the problem. The issue was a high temperature limit switch that had shorted out and could be quickly repaired.
The technician was courteous and prompt, but obviously did not do a very good job.
I do not know if the problem was competence or if there was a deliberate attempt to overcharge.

I contacted Mr. Rooter (Greenwood Plumbing) to have our heating system inspected. Their website advertised a $ 99 special on heating system inspections including carbon monoxide detection etc.
The woman who answered the phone and completed the scheduling process was very nice and it was easy to schedule the service. I was given a 2 hour window of time.
The technician showed up during the second hour. He did not introduce himself, just said that he was there to for the service. He asked me what I was looking to do so I told him I wanted to have the system inspected and that I anticipated it would need replacement because of its age.
Before he performed the inspection he informed me it would cost $ 280. I asked him about the special on the website and he said it did not include the safety checks etc. that he was going to perform, it was just basic functioning. Okay, fine. I didn’t want to argue with him alone in the house. He advised me after the inspection the system was unsafe and provided some quotes for what it would cost to replace the system.
The following day I contacted the company and asked about the price difference. I was told that the tech was not aware of the special and so that is why I had been charged so much for the service and they would refund me a check. I was satisfied with this, except I had to call back twice to make sure they were processing the check because it took about a month. The second time I called the check arrived about a week later.
So, they did resolve my issue regarding the price difference to my satisfaction but I would not call them again based on this experience.

I have no complaints about the promptness or service. Ed was the technician who came to our house on a Sunday afternoon when our toilet was clogged. He was friendly (even to our dogs) and fixed the problem fast. The dispatcher, Jessie, was also polite, friendly, and eager to help us with our dilemma. My only word of warning is that plumbing is EXPENSIVE, especially on a Sunday. So, buyer beware: service is A+, but pricing is steep ($ 238.53 to snake our toilet — minimum pricing). And, they will not tell you what the range of pricing is, until the technician arrives at your house and assesses the damage. I understand every job is different, but the technician had a costing sheet. Why shouldn’t we be privy to it before they come out to call and you fell obligated to pay?

There are many phrases that a homeowner or renter never wants to hear. One of the most dreaded is TOILET OVERFLOW.
Rather than tell you how disgusting my morning has been (w00t for cleaning up raw sewage right after breakfast! ooh-​la-​la that sexy smell of solid waste!), I would like to send a big shout out to Dante over at Mr. Rooter. Our normal plumbing company doesn’t work emergency on weekends (the bastards!), so Wife ran to the Yellow Pages and chose Mr. Rooter because… their ad was the largest? There was a cute animated happy plumber dude in the ad? Who knows?
Our call in was answered by super-​friendly Linda, who took our info and gave us an hour and a half time frame. Then (get this) she called back an hour and a half later on her own to let us know that Dante was busy finishing up a job and we’d see him in another 30 minutes. Lo and behold, the man was here 35 minutes later. Pretty cool.
If «chill plumber dude» is in your dictionary, Dante would be the picture next to it. He had a book with him full of diagrams to show us exactly what was wrong (ie. the toilet was clogged) and how he would fix it (he would unclog it using tools. Plumbing tools). He then flipped over to a menu of prices where it clearly stated how much it would all cost. Bonus! No hidden fees! It cost us exactly as much as quoted.
Then insert auger and go nuts, Dante! He worked fast and calm; in no time we were back flushing like professionals.
So emergency plumbing must cost an arm and a leg, right? I have no idea what the going rates are, but our service only cost us $ 150. I was sure it would be much much more. I don’t mind one bit that I am out $ 150 for this: my toilet flushes nicely again and I will never again believe it when they say that baby wipes are flushable.
One star off because he was slightly tardy, but I can’t fault them for being busy.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go vomit for a while.
