Established in 1989.

MHI Was established in 1989. We started from small renovations and have grown to building custom homes. Over 25 years of experience has allowed us to handle all aspects of construction, both commercial and residential. We cater to our customers personal taste both in design and execution. MHI is always up to date on current trends which can be an asset to the customer looking to update their home or start from scratch with the home of their dreams!

I, Marcelo, am the founder and owner of MHI. I started in 1989 with small projects. From there, I started to design and remodel many kitchens and baths. This became an expertise of mine… I wanted to extend this experience to other areas. So, I began building additions and new homes. With the abundance of older homes in RI, remodeling has become a speciality I have developed. Working on older homes has given me the knowledge to build modern and efficient homes without taking away character. The ever changing field of construction has kept me intrigued. It gives me great satisfaction to see the outcome of my workmanship and the joy it brings to the family!
