La Piazza Wine Bar & Lounge

Came here on Saturday night around 7. Was expecting some sort of wait, but the hostess said there would be an hour+ wait to sit. My boyfriend and I couldn’t how many open tables there were, inside and out. There were 12 open tables. How is it even possible that there is an hour wait with that many tables? We ordered food to go. The food was ok. The order of asparagus was the worst asparagus I have ever had. It was under cooked and tasted like someone just threw a full garlic into the sautee pan with it.
Everything else we had was ok and the food was done quickly.
Just an FYI to the hostess’ — you should probably not stand at the host stand dropping F bombs every other word. Its unprofessional and I am sure its not the image your restaurant wants to put out.

Definitely a good place to catch a night cap… Bartender last night was very accommodating. The crowd there was friendly. Between the ambiance the music and the company this place is a home run. Definitely for a mature audience, not for your average barfly. I can’t wait to go back.

Nice cozy place next to Grappa. We went there for drinks and they a nice duo playing all types of songs. Great atmoshphere and good time.

My friend had the shrimp/​avocado salad which she devoured. We sat outside and there was NO street noise, there was someone randomly playing guitar on the corner (sounded lovely).
The appetizers (cheese/​zucchini bathed in OO) was yummy too.

My wife and I stopped in on Thu night and enjoyed an excellent Joel Gott 2010 Cabernet wine. Then we learned that the wine bar and Grappa’s Restaurant next door have the same owner. We proceeded to order off the fine restaurant menu and had a wonderful evening of food and wine. Great food, great service.

Cute outdoor seating in an adorable town, but bad service and mediocre food. Also, the sign out front said $ 5 Sangria, but when we went to sit down, there was no such thing. I got pasta that was kind of mushy, and our server practically ignored our group.
